Let me see if I can find it, I think I saved the file on a USB stick somewhere.

EDIT: Found it! Have you tried attaching the ZIP to an email?

Attaching to email now...

EDIT: Too large.

EDIT THE SEQUEL: Attached to THIS post! It's version 1.6, so you'll have to go get the 1.7 update (which is free).

OK, so here's my next dilemma.

Custom Scenery, Custom Tracked Rides, and Custom Rides. Do we keep it stupid and leave it as Scenery, Rides, and Tracks...or do we make it a little more complicated?

Or do I just add a section called Custom Rides which would be anything you physically created to add to the game, not just a roller coaster creation.

As a side note: I've emailed Amazing Earl and some other RCT creators for permission to post their stuff. I haven't heard from one of them yet (in one case I posted at a forum in November and it's still the last activity there). So I'm reluctant to post custom creations until I hear something......or I'll given them a six month window and say the hell with it.

My thought: Separate out the rides from the scenery etc. simply as ease of use for our members-

If we can't directly post the custom rides content, could we put a pass-through link to their sites? I know Amazing Earl doesn't charge for his freebies (Scenery, parks or rides themselves) so I'm guessing he wouldn't mind our passing on through to his AE section of his site...

I'm going from front to back (1-xxxx) pages redoing RCT pics as I go- there were a few 'flub' shots I've fixed so far, but working on a few of the more complicated ones over the next day or so-

My suggestion is to get rid of the "scenery" sub-category and add three more in its place - Custom Scenery, Custom Flat Ride, Custom Tracked Ride. All three kinds of custom content have been developed for both RCT2 and RCT3.

Custom Scenery would be any easy fix. I can just edit the current category......I'm thinking that might be the best course. Too many categories, people will get confused. Too few categories.....people will get confused.

I might think this through for a few days.

EXCLUSIVE signature banner for the moderation team, designed to line up perfectly with a Club TPR banner...

My own personal signature banner (ignore this, I just want to upload it here...)

Step 1 - copy the image address.

Step 2 - edit your signature.

Step 3 - On the signature's first line, type , then the URL then with a forward slash before the i.

Step 4 - move your Club TPR banner to its own line.

Step 5 - move your text to its own line.

Thanks- Had some issues getting it there, but it does look great!

A general question for the NL people... Who's working on a contest for NL? I'm thinking that we might want to either 1.) Alternate RCT/NL on a month by month basis; that is, second week in April start a NL contest, second week in May a RCT contest, etc. or (Much more work here) do simultanious RCT II and NL contests.

The reason I'm asking: I've got a second RCT II challenge in progress (It's a bit more technically difficult than the first one from the 'building the scenario itself' side) and I'd like to see some pacing to the challenges.

Also- Have we figured out who's the Track of the Week for Monday?

Good thought there- I had completely forgotten about RCT III as of late... But then again, my head's been elsewhere.

I'm sort of thinking that NL should be the next one in the pipeline, simply as that seems to be larger than RCT III is- however, I leave that idea up to consensus more than anything else. Perhaps a basic 'Build us a (Fill-in-the-blank) coaster using (Something Stengel has done before) Track system with (Some type of minimum inserted here) Length and (Something reasonable inserted here) for height. Your ride must feature a (Interesting thing inserted here) and a (some sort of capacity related) train operation...

I never really thought about it- it's a lot like doing Mad-Libs...

We need to get feedback on it for about a week or so- since the heaviest traffic for things like that will be monday-wed (According to Robb)-

Once that data is 'in' we can see what to do next with it.

Categories should include:

RCT (Classic, and the add-ons)

RCt II (WW and TT)

RCT III (And the add ons there, too)

NL

Scream Machines.

If there's a way to have 'multiple' votes for a product (As in 'Choose as many as you play) that would be best-

Getting back to this. The issue I'm having difficulty with is, the Tracks category. How do we let users differentiate between Custom Tracked rides, Custom Rides, and Tracks?

In all reality: If we're breaking things down- perhaps using the 'KISS' method might be best-

My idea:

For all games, no matter what:

Tracks: Custom (User) designed, and Original (Game creator) designed

Scenery: Custom (user) designed and Original (Game Creator) designed

Rides: Ditto as above.

It might be six categories- but in the end, people could go and choose without too much effort, I think. If we were to go beyond this, as you've mentioned, it might get very confusing to the members- not to mention somebody as dumb as I am-

Just my .03 on it-
