And in case I forget (which is often), when we do TPR Challenges or a Track of the Week, let krazekiddd (Scott) know. He'll update the TPR Twitter feed for us.

 

I've asked him to Tweet about the current Challenge, kind of as a reminder that the deadline is coming.

Happy days- That's good stuff- I just updated the thread in the forum with a 'gentle reminder' of five days left- Six entries so far (Turned in/complete projects).

Typo alert.

 

Now that I think about it again, maybe changing the first category back to "tracks" is a good idea, to make it easy for our NoLimits users. Other than that, they look good.

I mostly Mod during the day while at work. Which means most photo sharing sites and youtube type sites are blocked. So, if you see something like ImagineerJohn's Thread, feel free to edit the subject heading for the correct game.

 

I'm assuming it's RCT3 from him, but I don't want to change it, just in case. A lot of these guys that post in multiple places just copy and paste the same thing in multiple forums.

 

I will say, seeing him pop up, is kind of a big deal. That means some of the big dogs are noticing the Forum!

And the only day I'm really not on my computer is Sunday and well, usually today. those are my Referee days at the local roller rink.

 

Other than that, I keep my browser always on this site, so I'm usually "on."

Guys, keep an eye on rct3geek11. I've already warned him, and locked one of his threads, which I've now been told was a park that he basically used SoCals coasters in. rct3geek11 has since deleted the park file from the Exchange.

 

If he causes any grief over the next couple of days (or his posting sucks.....most likely), just ban him via the IP. We don't have time to put up with idiots.

He's posted another duplicate file in the exchange that I had to delete again.

 

I'm not sure if we can ban IP addresses as far as I know. His IP is: 24.121.38.219

 

BTW, I Deleted the file because it was a duplicate, and socal did not give permission to post it up.

Like I mentioned earlier, I'm not sure we as game forum mods have the power to ban users, but this person still isn't posting legible and again trying to plagiarize work. At least a time out in posting is good enough, or even a permanent ban, but either way, his contributions are wasteful.

Plagarizing another person's park, changing a few things, then calling it your own is NOT allowed under any circumstances.

 

I have found from my own searches that you have done this with another TPR member's park and rides, and you have done it a SECOND time.

 

Do not do this again, or you will be banned from TPR.

Well for one, I know it's out of desperation for something.

 

Look at the first contest, and now this. People are going out of their way to get the win. I think after this bantron feeding, a nice public announcement will be made on both plagiarism, and cheating.
