USRoadTripper Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Another random photo report for everyone! No thanks, I'll have cookies instead! Jacqui, an exchange student friend from Mexico says "Me gusta Funky Puddin' Pie!" Aww! That's not chocolate pie! It turns out to be Funky Puddin' Pie. We all hate Funky Puddin' Pie. She seems to have created another equally bad dessert...Runny Funky Coconut Puddin' Pie! My cousin Emily is really stoked to be having chocolate pie for dessert! Oops! Not so Elissa friendly anymore! Time for dinner. Look! Elissa friendly food! Grandma stirs the spaghetti, as my mom and aunt laugh about how short she will look in the picture from that angle! There it is...I can smell the love from here! Whew! Made it just in time! Here's her exit...she lives just behind the Harley Davidson dealership! Julie sits in traffic as she makes the weekly 20 minutes drive to her Grandma's house for dinner with the family.
AllisonY2K Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Funky Puddin' Pie is better than no pie! 8) well.....probably in this case, no pie might be better. lol.
Hattuchili Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 mmmmmhhh, spaghetti! I love pasta in each form and taste! However, I think I would never taste the Funky Puddin' Pie, too!  --Sören
FlyingScooter Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Pie looked good! I hate Spaghetti. Love pasta w/ alfredo sauce though. Nice Dinner Report, Usroadtripper! If nothing else, Random TR's celebrate the moments of our lives! (don't that sound like a coffee commercial!)
dandaman Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Funky Puddin' Pie... sounds about as questionable as any "Surprise" in a cafeteria.
Guest Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 I thought I was the only person in the world that didn't eat spaghetti sauce. YUCK! Â Katie
kat11joe Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Aww! That's not chocolate pie! It turns out to be Funky Puddin' Pie. We all hate Funky Puddin' Pie. She seems to have created another equally bad dessert...Runny Funky Coconut Puddin' Pie! Â ROFLMAO!! That's the kind of pies my mom makes on the holidays then she wonders why my dad is the only one that eats it
coasterdude5 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I love grandmas! What would we do without them? Â Also, these random Photo TR's are awesome!
Kroger8 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Great RTR I am like'n these more and more, once again great trip report!
CoasterCrazy88 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 My great grandma used to cook pasta, with her homemade sauce. We also had cookies! Ours were from the Italian bakery. Me and my family used to go and eat with her alot! And we had to drive 20 min. as well. Â We won't do this anymore however, she passed away 1 week ago. Her funeral was tuesday. Â Antonio"BTW, great TR "G.
Kroger8 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I am so sorry for your loss, I too miss my Great-Grandparents, as well my Grand-mother who I loved dearly. She was the best cook ever.
USRoadTripper Posted July 28, 2005 Author Posted July 28, 2005 I lost my grandpa on that side of the family in February, so the weekly dinner seems a little more important now. We've been doing that once a week since my mom was dating my dad...over 31 years!! Since then the family went from 5 people to 11, and now we're back to 10. Usually grandma's desserts are much better than the Funky Puddin' Pie! She brought it out and we were all like "Aww...yuck..." It made for more humor in the trip report thought! -Julie
CoasterCrazy88 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I just wanted to say thank you for all of the nice words. Yes, I will miss my her, but I have some great memories.
