Xizor_Racer Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Greetings one and and welcome to my newest creation. After Countrytime Park I am, feeling more confident in my buildings and so far have a couple of decent Coasters for the new park...... I am well into it but these will be the first pics from the new park. I hope you enjoy! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ From X_R Enterprises and And Cedar Flaggs Infotainment comes a family fum park for all ages...... Falling Waters Park. The park is situated in a valley with a river and falls coming down off a mountian. There are other falls throughout the park as well as a few man made falls. Stoksy Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 The park is very good, however I saw a park at RCTTown that had exactly the same name, Falling Waters, I am just notifying you that there is a park that has the same name as yours.
dmaxsba2408 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I really like the glass area at the front of you park. Looks great.
netdvn Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 1. The building design looks great. Very well done 2. Scenery is awesome. Nice job. 3. I went back to the Countrytime Park thread and I've noticed that you didn't seem to finish. Are you gonna finish? Is it finished?
Xizor_Racer Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 Thanks all, I haven't been to RCTown I will have to check that out. Countrytime kind of ran it's course, There was some more area to work in, but I had several areas in the pak that people were just geting stuck in. Just out in the middle of the pathways. I have one spot in Falling Waters right now like that. I don't know how to fix that. Anyway, again thanks for all the comments. I will have more to come from Falling Waters later today.
Xizor_Racer Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 As promised here is some more from Falling Waters Park. Overview of the current back corner of the park. And finally for you today a pendulum ride called "Confusion" Here is a flying saucer ride called "Lunar 1" you can also see a newly added tunnel to the Railroad. And a final shot of "The Launch" with landscaping complete. Another Shot of "The Launch" Here is the station building for the Twin Launch Coasters simply called "The Launch" Here is another restraunt called Station Side and a restroom building. Here is the second station for Falling Waters Railway. You can also see another overpass.
jason10 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 You have one os those dual name coasters! the Launch and Force Nine!
Xizor_Racer Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 Here we are back with another update from Falling Waters............ Enjoy!! Overview A new restraunt themed with "Duece" called "Roaster's Grill". They server the best fried chicken in five counties! Backside view ....and the Station area. Transfer track and work area. "Duece" w/Stats The newest Roller Coaster called "Duece". Some more landscaping and a tunnel for Falling Waters Railway. Here is a shot of the pathway connecting into a complete circuit around that side of the park.
Mochtroid Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Your woodie design is uninspired, needs more air hills. Your beemer is blah, fix it. No hills is meh. You can do different than Force Nine. Your archy is blocky and yucky. 2.5/10
Xizor_Racer Posted April 25, 2009 Author Posted April 25, 2009 Wow, ok, well no season pass for you I guess........ And what is an archy that is too blocky and yucky?!?!?!?!?!?! And my Beemer is out in the parking lot...........
Chris Benvenuto Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 ^^ HARSH! MUCH? The archy on the stations you have need work, alot of it. But the other buildings are fine by what I see, just vary the colors and it should be good. But redesign the Launch dual coasters instead of using a prebuilt design in the game I like what I see, a 7/10 so far.
Xizor_Racer Posted April 25, 2009 Author Posted April 25, 2009 No just sarcastic.... AH HA Archy=Architecture I was thinking I have no McDonalds in the park to have archies........ So it's all in the family. Thanks! I just kind of stuck the Launch coasters in there.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Now I do think that theres been a bit too much"very very very goods" for this park, so here what I have to say . . . . . . . -You don't need to cover up ever piece of entry/exit path. Only kiddie coasters, and old fashioned wooden coasters do it. -The free falling launcher, its just well not good. You could of used the space for something more original. Plus the colors on it don't look so pretty either. -The wooden coaster feels like it could of done a lot more than what it is doing. Like you could of done a lot more hills and stuff. -Your buildings are blocky. Overall its a 3/5.
Xizor_Racer Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 I will have a couple of more updates soon. Part of them will be from before everyone's thoughts, and I will have some post comments. One question for all who have posted comments on the coasters. The customs that I have done are by far my best as far as excitement rating by the game statndards. Do you all go by something else to gauge? Just wondering...... remember this is only my third custom senario park. Thanks!!
the ghost Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I go from excitement/intensity/ and over all presentation/creativity.
Xizor_Racer Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 OK, back with an update here for Falling Waters. This will still be what I had done before comments. I will continue to press forward and then go back later to fix things like the Launcher. I hope you enjoy! I will close this update with a shot of Soaring Flight w/ Stats!! Station building and transfer track/work area for "Soaring Flight" a flyer. Very similar to my previous efforts so probably stil too blocky?? A drop tower called Drop Off! still a little less enclosure than normal. Secondary station with restroom building. You can also see the monorail overpass and walk under pathway. Monorail main with additional landscaping Tunnel along the monorail line. Monorail secondary station.... Monorail main Station. Used the galss panels and roof to give it more of a modern feel. Here is the new slide. Less enclosure than most rides.
Stoksy Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 ^No, the building doesn't look blocky at all, maybe the odd roof but other than that it's all good. Just a small suggestion, I think that instead of using the "open" roofs, try to use more enclosed ones, and, this could just be me, I feel that there is a little too much glass roofing in the park, I prefer the more closed roofs for buildings, stations etc. but that's just me.
kalvin Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Monorails are not usally built on the ground, there elevated.
BelgianGuy Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Your making progress thats for sure, but try to keep your idea realistic, like the flyer I would never dare rideing since your doing an unbanked turn at massive speed, Things you schould work on IMO: -Landscaping:not just a little hill to put something on, but make it have some natural flow -Rides: make your layouts more realistic, look at pictures of real coasters to get a better idea -Buildings: try more different shapes of buildings and not make everything in glass. -Foliage: get a nice natural variation of trees and schrubs
paintballer Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 The first of the 2 Monorail stations looks...odd. The rest looks fine to me! Ignore what that other idiot said.
