Mechanic Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 As near as I can tell, we email Dan because he finds unsolicited emails annoying. Is that right? Also, when did the "email Dan" thing start? I was just considering this while sending Dan my comments on the various aspects of WCB highlighted by Robb in the WCB update. You know, the ones where Robb suggests we email Dan. Anyhow, I was just curious. Thanks.
larrygator Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 ^Wrong - Dan loves e-mails, keep sending them.
SharkTums Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 ^^You should email Dan and ask him all these questions!
Calicoasters Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I'm not even positive that Dan gets my message! The last message I sent to him Robb replied!
robbalvey Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 ^ He forwards them all to me! All I know is that we went to dinner tonight and his phone beeped like every 30 seconds. It was amazing! --Robb
Not For Sale Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I email Dan even when I'm not supposed to. He's great at tech support if any of you have computer trouble.
ebl Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I e-mail Dan to talk about diabetes, since we share that hobby. I've often wondered how many e-mails he gets each day, but I guess there's one way to find out... Eric
ChrisZer0 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 ^ did ya both share your GI numbers and recipies for carob-based sweets?I have a good friend whos diabetic, so ive learned about it all (testing, managment, meds, ect..) Im curious, does dan have a real job or does he just answer e-mail from the forums all day?
ChrisZer0 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 ^ I just might, and also ask him what is an appropriate level of wetness...
Teacups Make Me Sick Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I e-mail Dan to talk about diabetes, since we share that hobby. Now thats a positive way to look at diabetes!
ebl Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 ^ It's a sweet hobby, really! Seriously, it really does help when you have someone who shares the same issues. You can learn from each other regardless of what it might be. Eric
ChrisZer0 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 ^ It's a sweet hobby, really! That was soooooo punny (rimshot)
ebl Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 ^ If you liked that, you'd like my license plate frame. Eric
BelizeIt Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I know Dan is involved with Westcoaster, but does he ever post on this site? What's his TPR screen name anyhow? I can't recall if I've ever read a post of his. I know he globe trots with Robb + Elissa, and receives more than a few emails from the TPR junkies.
robbalvey Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 ^ His screen name here is....wait for it.... "Dan" but he rarely every posts to here or to Westcoaster. He's much more of a 'behind the scenes' type of guy who takes a lot of pictures and just hangs out with the group. --Robb
ebl Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 ^^ And he's smart for focusing on more important things in his life, like work and having a life outside of Internet forums. Eric
spaceace12 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 ^^ And he's smart for focusing on more important things in his life, like work and having a life outside of Internet forums. Eric Internet forums keep me entertained at work.
SharkTums Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 ^^I thought you knew Dan better than that! He doesn't have a life outside of work!!!!
ChrisZer0 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 We need a Dan FAQ, answering such timeless questions as "how high is too high when it comes to blood sugar" and "whats are the degrees of appropriate wetness", not to mention the mundane like "Does Dan Have A Real Job". Id be willing to read it....
ebl Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 ^ You can ask me diabetes related questions if you want. And old age ones, too! Eric "who's older than Jeff Johnson but gets teased less" L. PS: BTW, ideally, your blood sugar reading should be about 100 or so before a meal.
larrygator Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 E-mail Dan >>>>>>>> ask Eric a question no offense Eric!
ChrisZer0 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Eric, as a diabetic, can you still enjoy a tommys chili cheese burger?? LOL
