DandAyr Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 from what I recall from my visit a couple of years back, these wood effect pillars will make it fin in with the near by rides Mad Mill and Water Spin which had similar support colouring. Also Splash has a lot of wood - so again they are just showing consistency in their finer detail themining of the park.
AlmereStars Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 OKay I thought this was pretty funny WASSENAAR - Er dreigt een officieel gilverbod in Attractiepark Duinrell. The population of the city Wassenaar aren't happy with the coming coaster Rick's Delight. They fear that when the coaster is open, the customers scream so loud that they will create too much sound. The city of Wassenaar will check the screamers when the coaster opens in may, 2009. If the screaming is too loud, Duinrell will first get a warning, and then a fine. Duinrell will probably place some signs asking the visitors not to scream too loud.
Kooky Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 here are the newest pics from http://themepark.nl/ubb/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1022892#Post1022892 you can see that every ride ist painted in the wooden style:
netdvn Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 ^ That coaster is really coming out nicely. Not to mention the park looks really beautiful.
themeparkman25 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Am I the only one that likes the wooden feeling of the supports, on all the rides? I think it looks pretty rad, great coaster though! Thanks for the update
CreditCrazy Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 It's always nice to have another Euro-Fighter. This one looks pretty fun, especially those intense little turns throughout the ride.
Kooky Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 After a long time i found some new pics from MadMill and RonShovel on: http://themepark.nl/ubb/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1058583#Post1058583
AlmereStars Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Looks like Duinrell will open the ride on time, a couple of weeks for testing
larrygator Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 ^"On time" is a relative term since this was originally scheduled to open in 2008.
AlmereStars Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hahaha thats true. But for the place where I work (Oud Valkeveen, small park) a year late is still on time I really hope it opens in may, cause I just scheduled a visit in June!
dr.gumbo Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 The park has put up a mini-site: www.duinrell.nl/stuntpiloot/index.php?lang=en Seem's like the name might possible be changed to 'Stunt Pilot' but I'm not a hundred percent sure. Either way, it seems the ride will be themed to flight in some way.
hobbit Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 i have visit Duinrell today, the second day that Falcon is open... there is the plane crash.. drop drop drop all the people love Falcon. AWESOME ! the next pictures are... Station.. there where no people in line, and they still ride with 3 cars !! great duinrell ! in the queline from Falcon. NO LINES !! First look at Falcon.
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Thank goodness it isn't called "Rick's Delight." This ride looks good for the park. I don't know what I think about that rusty look on the back of the seats though.
dr.gumbo Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I actually quite liked the Rick's Delight name, it was a bit quirky and original. lol ^^^ Thanks for the photo's, I can't wait to ride this in the summer.
