^^ Come on Scott. Each end of the world movie gives us serious insight on what to expect and how to survive when the world is going to end. I know that personally I know how to defend myself against angry aliens, swarms of destructive insects, and astroids.

^ True, but the real thing will be in even higher definition than is currently available. You might even say it will go beyond 4D. Now that's something IMAX can't even promise. I'm saving my $10 and setting up a lounge chair in the back yard 3 years from now.

I don't believe that stupid end of the world crap. Just because an ancient civilization died out & couldn't finish the calender doesn't mean anything to me. I do believe that we are going to CHANGE the way we do everyday life sometime in the next few years not die. AKA Barack Obama's presidency

^ That's the point everybody's missing... they didn't stop the calendar because they thought the world was going to end, they stopped because they all fucking died. So that would pose a problem.

Plus the way I see it, there most likely aren't any mayans left on earth, and when they were around, they probably weren't the brightest bulbs in the temples. Also, (as further proof) just because the mayan calendar is ending doesn't mean the world is! It's most likely like an odometer. It just resets and goes to "2" after.

(Sorry if I offended any/all of you TPR Mayans)
