Ba'ate'el is Mayan for war. The Mayans were known for the war tactics and stratedgy, and were constantly at war with their neighbors. This coaster displays the intensity of war displayed by the mayans.

It stands 312.5 feet (95.25 M)above the ground and reaches speeds of 94 mph (151 kph) upon its 95 degree decent back to the ground.

The track is 7042.4 feet in length totalling over 1500 feet in total drop. It has 4 overbanked turns ranging from 135 degrees in banking to 95 degrees. The first element is a large swooping overbanked turned 225 feet above the ground leading into a massive floater hill nearly 200 feet in height.

This ride also contains a large helix right above the water traveling over 65 mph which then dashes in and out of ancient mayan ruins.

The creation of Ba'ate'el has taken nearly 5 months, with the idea being formed in October with the final product being completed in February. I did not use any add on programs and built the track from hand, no elementary or AHG. I want to thank Coasterman390 for his help in smoothing the track out and some 3ds as well as Griffonluv for additional help.

As you can tell, I still need to jungle the entire setting and I also have to make the q line. Before I say the ride is all said and done though, I was wondering if I could get some people to check the ride. Tell me where I can smooth the track, or re support it in a more real fashion. Thanks for the help!!!

This is from the first element, a large overbanked turn (135 degrees) looking at the 95 degree drop and the 200 foot floater hill.

This is the final floater hill before entering the brake run. It dashes in and out of mayan pyramids!

How long did it take you to support this ride?!?!

The lift hill took some time, there is 6 towers i believe, the upper part is easy but the bottom part took longer. It follows the MF support structure with 4 nodes on the outside of the tower and then 4 nodes inbetween those. 8 per level, per tower haha.

Would you be willing to test it?! I really need testers

I would love to test your coaster and share my opinion! (If you still want more people to test it...)

I will send you my email address if you want me to test for you.

Dude, that ride is gorgeous. I'd be happy to test that for you. I'm not nearly as experienced as other builders on this site, but I'll still give you the best analysis I can manage. Besides, I want to ride that beauty!

Looks pretty impressive, I like the objects and the layout but I think you should change the texture of the temple buildings. The one you have now doesn't look that realistic.

If you wish, I could make an environment for you (I need some practise).

Update!!!

With all the feedback I have gotten, I am running through the ride again and fixing everything I was told including elminating transport devices and fixing banking issues just to name a few. Im really excited for the final product. When I fix everything, Id like a last set of eyes to make sure the corrections are right, is that cool? haha.

Everyone who has helped so far...I will definitely cite you in the coaster info! I thank you for your help.

Dr.gumbo-from far away it looks like the the objects arent textured at all but up close they are. This is my first coaster using OC and Im still getting the hang out the program, but I dont know a way around using any texture above 128x128. So in fact the pyramids are textured, I stole the small texture off of a real picture of the pyramids so its pretty legit. If you have any ideas though, Id really love some help and Id like to hear them!

Thanks again

Due to overwhelmingly sufficient complaints about the poor quality of the two helixes, the final air time hill and the final brake run I decided to demo the ride from pretty much the MCBR. I have to reconstructed back to just before the first helix, this should be so much better.

New helix!! You can see the supports of the old last turn off in the distance.

Alright, here is the final product I can deliver at this point. Midterms and projects and all the stresses of college have not allowed me to finish this the way I intended so it is still pumpy in places and Im sorry. Perhaps in the future I will remake the coaster using No Limits tools to really smooth the coaster out. I think it has potential to be a really quality coaster, but at this point in time I have to throw in the towel. Its been built by hand not using a single add on tool, and has taken forever. Thanks for downloading and sorry that I have to retire the project this way.

I FORGOT TO LOWER THE TRAIN COUNT TO TWO, BEFORE YOU RIDE THE COASTER MAKE SURE TO LOWER THE COUNT TO TWO. WITH THREE YOU WILL STOP AT MCBR.

Ok, this might be a stupid question but I just got No Limits. How do you open these files ".nlpack". Seeing as this download is in that format that's why I'm asking. For instance I downloaded this file but then it comes out as a unreadable file?

^^There is a version of most of the NL tools on coastersims.com but I can't get the site to load right now. I searched elsewhere and found the tools here.

And then regarding the video, its not working anywhere! Coastertube and youtube won't have anything to do with it. I'm still trying though.
