AlmereStars Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Why a trailer I wanna ride the whole thing!
dr.gumbo Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 ^ It isn't finished yet if your hinting what I think your hinting.
DBru Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Please don't release this yet...I'm still getting my laptop fixed... (Video looks awesome, though!)
dr.gumbo Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 New image showing my first ever custom environment (with custom tree's) www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i41573
dr.gumbo Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 Here's one last image, I'll release the ride sometime this week (or the next).
Pufferfish Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Um, I might be seeming a little slow right now but I don't get the theme. I'm thinking it is themed to Santa's Sleigh, but I'm not quite certain. It seems to dark and depressing to be Santa. Otherwise, looks good and I can't wait to download it and see it.
the ghost Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Maybe its Santa bot from futurama. Of course maybe father christmas is different than Santa. Dr. Gumbo's English, and I believe the English created the father Christmas story. There may be more about the british father christmas than the american version. The only reason I'm also saying this, is that there are no authentic castles in america.
kamikazewatermelon Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 That's a pretty weird name. Did you just use it because it sounds cool, or does it mean something? (I've got the Castelle part, just not the Cruenox)
dr.gumbo Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 ^ It started of as 'Castle Crunok' but I decided to screw up the spelling to make it sound more foreign. So yeah, its gibberish. lol
dr.gumbo Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Released. Enjoy! I will release it to other sites on Sunday.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 ^Did you install the environments he posted? But about the ride, that thing was amazing!!! I would have probably crapped myself if I rode that in real life! And I love the scenery!
DBru Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Oh wow...that was...GREAT! Albeit a bit too INSANE for a bobsled coaster, the layout was fun and never let up, the coaster was butter-smooth, and the scenery was AMAZING! Nice work, and I can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!
dr.gumbo Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 Thanks for the comments, I've put up a new upload which actually passes the E-stop and Tunnel test. Enjoy!
AlmereStars Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 that was awesome real nice Castle!! only thing I found weird was that the tracks are banked all the time (except for the lifts) is it suppose to do that?
AlmereStars Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 ^ the track is banked all the time (leaning to the right).. like its supposed to in a turn, but the fairly straight tracks are also banked a lot
dr.gumbo Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 ^ Could you point out where, I still don't know what you mean exactly.
AlmereStars Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I'll do that, but it will be after christmas
Freefallbestrideever Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Ok i put the environments stuff in the NL Environments folder, then i run track packager (which is installed in the NL directory and has worked fine before) and i get "this file is not a valid track package".....
dr.gumbo Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 Try it again now, it should work (I'm assuming you were using the link download).
