I am a working on a engineer requirement for a theme park and I am not able to understand what PPM means. Can anyone throw some light on the term

Parts per million is how I know PPM as. In engineering it's probably likely that's what it refers to as well.

 

But we can only guess, as you're not telling us what the context is. How it's being used will determine what it means.

If its engineering I'll also say parts per million.

 

What exactly is the PPM referring to though? As ^ said its hard to judge when you've just said PPM and not what sentences its been used in etc.

Actually I am looking to recruit ride engineers(mechanical/electrical) for one the biggest theme parks in UK.They are looking for people who have experience with PPM. I researched on the term and I came across Parts Per Million ,Periodic Permanent Magnet,Pulses Per Minute etc.

 

I was looking for some information.
