MrX8991 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Hmm...seems like you're going to have to fit many rides into a smaller area than your other park! Anyways, looks awesome and realistic!
Pufferfish Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Oh wow, are you sure this is the same landscape you showed us a couple of weeks ago? Anyways, love the entry way! I can't wait to see how many rides you're going to try to cram on that little island. I love compact parks, and I seriously doubt this one will disappoint. Bring on the beautiful .
DBru Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 OMG, there's hardly anything there and I'm already in love with it! I CAN'T WAIT for this place to start filling up!
Thelegendarymatthew Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I just hope your rides are as good as your scenery.
ElToroExtreme Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 All after the ordeal youve been thru! that my friends is dedication! Hope your feeling better, and i can wait to see this badboy unfold!
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Wow! It's looking great right from the start, it's a fantastic area to cram stuff into. If you have to have a crammed park, have it in Florida! I'm guessing the first stuff will be water based, right? I'm guessing Palm Key is the park mascot, maybe.........
KPWoCkAxX Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I'm really glad you're getting better and being able to post again! It's a clever idea I reckon, I think that if you plan this out right it will look fantastic! Looking forward to seeing more!
DBru Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I'm guessing Palm Key is the park mascot, maybe......... It's the location...
kraken613 Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 ^ Yep Ok Im trying to figure out what type of coaster to build! Would you like one of my B&M Dive Machine Hybrid's for opening? Im open to suggestions!
Kalepi_Konei Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 ^If it was more of a mini-dive machine that'd be cool, but something big would stick out like a soar thumb. May I suggest an intamin ride based over the water sort of, maybe like an aquatrax *hint hint* *wink wink* *nudge nudge*
Team Thriller Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I honestly think an average sized wooden coaster would fit the coastline better. Something like Giant Dipper. --James
Kalepi_Konei Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 ^ Agreed but that seems a little "common" for a beachish park.
kraken613 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 I still haven't decide haven't worked on the park anymore yet since I did the entrance!
Team Thriller Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 ^^ Exactly. That's the point. --James
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Maybe one of those dry/wet coasters. You know, the one where it is a dry coaster and you can plunge it into a body of water? Wild mouse maybe? There are several great options for starting attractions......... Maybe even a giant ferris wheel!! Ahhhh! Too many ideas!
Team Thriller Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 ^ A water coaster? I imagined this more as a classical boardwalk style park. I think a water coaster wouldn't match unless it was made to look more classical. --James
DBru Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I don't like RCT water coasters; they don't look realistic at all...
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 ^ Not the water coaster, but that one that seats 24 people per car and can go into a body of water! The car kinda looks like a splashboat style car with wide metal track. Now do you know what I'm talking about?
DBru Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 ^Oh, an Intamin Giant Flume? Eh, I don't think it would fit in here either...LOL
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 ^Exactly to both! But he could build the station in the water, right? But that wouldn't help much............ Might I suggest a Giant Wheel? Only takes up 2x8 or so and can provide room for 144 peeps! More people would be riding that than walking in the entire park. I don't know, this is a challenge for a first ride, unless it was a tilt-a-whirl or something!
kraken613 Posted September 13, 2008 Author Posted September 13, 2008 Im still on a block of what to do. Everything ive tried so far just dosnt come up to my standard.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Just try something simple. Simple is always a great way to start! Just put a carousel, a giant wheel, a zipper, and an S&S Power Tower. There'll be something for everybody!
