nagro5
This park index isn't live yet, it's just in beta testing. So the link on the front page navigation bar hasn't been updated and that's on purpose. Once all the bugs are fixed and we are ready to go live we'll update those links. That answered my question. Sorry about making that a little confusing. I knew what I was asking, but I really didn't know how to put into words...
robbalvey
Ya, I noticed the TPR TV, it still seems like it needs a lot more work, but its a great idea. Once you finish it will it be for just theme park videos, or can it be any videos you have? (Within reason) TPR TV will have a "random" section....although I'm not realy ready to discuss that project..it's still a ways off! --Robb
PKI Jizzman
Robb, I think Dreamworld, Wet 'n Wild, and Movie World AU would be a great addition to the park index. The parks aren't talked about nor heard about much...and they really should be! My Aussie Thread should provide all the pictures and info you would need. Dreamworld - http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41610&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=australia&start=30 Movie World - http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41610&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=australia&start=60 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41610&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=australia&start=70 Wet 'n Wild - http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41610&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=australia&start=80 Dreamworld Trip 2 - http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41610&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=australia&start=90 Just suggestions...but I just think these would really put TPR out there. Full coverage of the big Australia theme parks! I hope you'll consider. -JZ
mcjaco
^ As stated before, this is the Beta. Not all the park pages are up yet.
robbalvey
^^ I really should make it clear that we are looking for "problems" with the system, not missing parks. I've said it three times now in this thread that there WILL be a feature that will allow you to suggest missing parks, but that is not the purpose of this thread. Once again, here is the list of what we need help with quoted from the first post of this thread: Please report the following: http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/ - Links that do not work properly - Typos - Functionality not working properly - Cosmetic problems - Anything else you might notice or want us to add to this new system - Opinions, thoughts, suggestions - All are very welcome! When I said "anything else you...want us to add" I meant feature wise, not missing parks. I hope that is clear. --Robb
coasterdude5
I don't know if this is possible, but it would be cool if you could there was a filter that would separate the parks that are operating from those that have since closed. I know there aren't that many, but it'd still be a cool feature maybe down the road.
astroworldfan1
I think the BETA version has "This Park Is No Longer Open" on parks like Six Flags Astroworld and Six Flags New Orleans when you click on it. I'm really loving the new design, Robb! -Tatum
robbalvey
^ Yes, that is correct. We do display if a park or ride is no longer open. There may be a way to filter some things out, but if we do that we would probably want a few options to filter out on the list. For example: * Closed Parks * International Parks * USA Parks We have flags set for all of those items currently and could do it without having to go into each park. Now if we wanted to do something like filter out "Water Parks" we'd have to add a check box for each park to say if it's a water park or not. That would have to be part of Phase 2. Anyone found any other issues? --Robb
Hhappy
There's one thing i've noticed... the order in which the TPR Member Photo Trip Reports are posted are not always the same.. for Holiday World it goes from recent(2007) to past(2005) when you look at it top to bottom For Phantasialand it goes from past (2005) to recent (2007) when looking at it top to bottom.. i guess it will be the same order someday? robbalvey
^ Yes, that is one of the things still left on our "to do" list. The dates will go from most recent to oldest. We just haven't made them all consistent yet. --Robb
Edward
^ Yeah, the search is just for rides and parks. If you want to Search Denmark you'll need to sort by Country Name and all the Denmark parks will be listed under "D" http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/index.php?order=country Yeah, and as far as the page links that link to the old static pages, those new links will have to be changed by hand. That won't happen right away. Like with the forum page links in the top-left and bottom-right corner. I'm not sure what you mean here. Well, say you are browsing some pictures on Page 3, then the page links at the bottom would show like this: Page: 1 2 3 4 5 /Edward PS. Noticing you haven't had a TPR trip to Australia yet. Gonna go there some time or does it look too boring?
robbalvey
^ Ahh, I get it. When you see the page links at the bottom, the page you are currently on is not listed as an active link. --Robb
robbalvey
I noticed that La Ronde didn't have a page La Ronde has a page now. Also the letter links should be working with Firefox. Can someone that uses this browser check it out please? Thank you! --Robb

Alvey ps. The letter links should work in Firefox now. Yes, that is great. Btw, just wish to say that in that Ravine Flyer II TR thingy, Cameron has a small resemblance to John Dorian from Scrubs. Also you, Robb, have some resemblance to Rodney McKay from Star Gate Atlantis. /Edward

Just suggestions...but I just think these would really put TPR out there. Full coverage of the big Australia theme parks! I hope you'll consider. -JZ FYI - Wet n Wild is completed. One suggestion for anyone who writes a PTR with multiple parks, videos, etc... would be to create links or a legend on the first page of your thread like these examples: PTR with links to individual content PTR with a legend directing readers to page #s of specific content It makes for a much better viewing experience. As Robb stated, the mods/ASSistants are working hard to get all park loaded up and there will be a mechanism in place in the near future to assist us in sharing PTRs/Videos of missing parks. Many International parks are already in our queue to fix including much of Australia, Thailand, Korea, and some parks in central Europe and Japan). The mods have been working on the parks from the previous Park Index first along with the ones we are most familiar with first for the BETA testing. Unfortunately, many of the mods have not been to Australia and Thailand parks yet. Although great PTRs allow everyone to live vicariously through other's journeys. robbalvey
There have been a few more parks added to the list and the most important feature that is now done is the ability for all of you to submit links to your trip report or upload photos to be added to a ride or roller coaster page. Check it out! http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/ --Robb
