JayDarkKnight25
What do you guys think about their future in the coming years? I think first they need to take a look at all 4 of their scream machines. Should really be 5 since the removal of Drachen Fire. I think they should put something in replace of that because it was a great coaster. Maybe in the future or in 06' they could add a woodie!! Or a Floorless coaster, maybe both in 2006.
AllisonY2K
Drachen Fire was awesome. a little rough, but still good. I'm glad I got that credit before it poofed. they should put something back into that corner. another awesome coaster tucked away like it's predecessor. Coasterlicious
I had the chance to go to that park yesterday and I didnt ...Instead I had a tour of Washington DC, and walked around the city in 90+ heat.. I should of checked out Busch Gardens....
pgathriller
Maybe they can make a new type of coaster. A backwards inverted B&M Coaster. That would be really cool. Theme Parks are building the same types of coaster over and over again. It would be cool to ride new types of coasters. Don't you think?
AllisonY2K
bah. a generic arrow looper will be enough to bring crowds in. *snicker* Â or perhaps a coaster similar to The Italian Job with a "Dukes of Hazzard" theme. the cars could be painted to resemble the General Lee, Daisy Duke's jeep, Boss Hogg's car, and Rosco's police cruiser and race through the woods, through barns, jump over stuff and whatnot. Â Allison "what's the Dukes of Hazzard?" Y2K
Erik Johnson
What was the reason that they took out Drachen Fire?
ECZenith
There were too many complaints of the roughness of the coaster. An inversion (cutback) was removed after opening, but it still proved to be too much turbulence for the average joe.
bgwfreak
^ There were also rumors of a lawsuit. Â It's strange that they've kept the Drachenfire station and the houses for the trains!!! It makes me think we might see another coaster in the spot sometime soon. Â I've been wishing for a woody or a custom floorless for BGW for a long time now. Â They need a new coaster badly. 1999 was Apollo. Since then they have removed 2 coasters. Â or perhaps a coaster similar to The Italian Job with a "Dukes of Hazzard" theme. the cars could be painted to resemble the General Lee, Daisy Duke's jeep, Boss Hogg's car, and Rosco's police cruiser and race through the woods, through barns, jump over stuff and whatnot. Â Allison "what's the Dukes of Hazzard?" Y2K Â One problem with that. Dukes of Hazzard has nothing to do with Europe. Â BGW is a European themed park. JayDarkKnight25
Why can't they add 2 in one year? Like a floorless maybe in the Drachen Fire section and another one, maybe a flyer in France or Ireland??
bgwfreak
^ Anything is possible. It's just not probible. Â I can't recall any park except the Six Flags parks adding two major coasters in one year. Â And we all know what happened to the finances of Six Flags now don't we??? Â Busch is too smart to go into debt up to their eyeballs like Six Flags did. Â Busch seems to be very conservitive when they invest and they usually wait and do something really good instead of just adding a crappy coaster every 2 years. Â I just don't understand why it's taken so long for BGW to get a coaster.
AllisonY2K
One problem with that. Dukes of Hazzard has nothing to do with Europe. Â Curses, foiled again. That idea was brilliant! Tiny oversight on my part, and I've been to BGW too!
JayDarkKnight25
What they need is another coaster in 2006(next year),or 2007. But I'd rather 2006 myself, then another coaster in 2007. Back to back-maybe? :?
JayDarkKnight25
So what do you think they'll add for their next future attraction? :?
ECZenith
If the trend keeps up, most likely another B&M. Â Gwazi at BGT was a shocker to me, I think a wooden terrain coaster would suit that park very nicely.
ECZenith
Also... what seems to be missing from Both Busch Gardens that would go great in that park... a drop tower of some sort, in BGW's case, heavily themed.
TwistedTrack
the problem i think with adding a new coaster to BGW would be the saying "fear the four". they could add one more coaster and make it "fear the five" but after that they would have to get a whole knew slogan and replace all the souviners that say it. BarryH
If I recall correctly, B&M made a deal with BGT not to construct any drop coasters at any non-AB park for years. So why not bring a drop coaster to BGW? Otherwise, I'd like to see a woodie go into BGW. Â If not, Sesame Place must get a drop coaster!
Nitro X 230
If not, Sesame Place must get a drop coaster! Â Right down Oskar's garbage can!
coasterdude5
I wouldn't want a woodie, I'd rather see them keep the pattern going and add a steel. It be so awesome if they made somthing like Powderkeg!
TwistedTrack
it would be cool if they had a B&M flyer that flew around rivers and waterfalls, sort of like what Nemises does.
JayDarkKnight25
What about a B&M floorless + maybe a flyer in 2007? 8)
JayDarkKnight25
What about a B&M floorless coaster in Ireland or Oktoberfest next to Curse of DarKastle? I went on that ride by the way at the end of June, and it was spectacular!!!!!!! 8) My other option would be a good B&M flyer. Maybe in 2006. Both of my options would probably be in 2006. I hope. :? JayDarkKnight25
Let's just hope it won't be like 2009 or 2010 before they add their next coaster!!!! Maybe it'll take alot of preperation since they're rides are mostly themed and unique. I'm predicting something like a 2007-2008,unfortunately it can't be earlier but who knows? :?
