p. 438: Twizzlers Twisted Gravity announced for 2025!

I actually Skyrush. Sounds pretty cool for a tall and/or fast coaster, which I'm assuming is what this will end up being. Either way, schedualling my return to HP for next year. Havn't been to the place since 2005!

Hershey is getting ready to drop something pretty big, clue-wise. The breakdown of the gifs is great, BTW.

IF anything, we're looking at the first of the 'final' gif clues to the game- as in: Something will open up the OCP site, where, unless they're REALLY playing with us, will be like the NANTIMI clues. As in: The first of the 'confirmed' layout and profile.

Good luck to whomever of us gets to HP and finds the magic clue- however it's found.

I already had plans to be at the park on the 18th anyway. I'm not the greatest at this game they are playing but with season passes and my curiosity for the game, I can certainly take note of something different or new in the hollow. I'll be sure to check out the bench and the area around the restrooms.

So, how do you nonchalantly go looking around a bench in the middle of a crowded amusement park, searching for something that may or may not be there, without even knowing what in the hell you are looking for?? GP are gonna think there is something wrong with you LMAO!!!!! I think it is pretty cool how they are playing this out. They would have to be watching this forum in order for them to pull off something like this. That is the only way I can figure they would know enough to put the pics with dates and be sure someone is even crazy enough to show up and do it. It could be possible that the guys with lab coats might be there with some interesting info.........

I think I can freely speak for those of us who are -very patiently- following this forum, this trend, the sites, the FB page, the tweets and the park et al and say:

You'd better belive it, BUB.

And mind you, not all of us are in the HersheyPark area- I've already booked my tickets for mid May next year to go and ride this thing- whatever it is- simply as it has been a part of my life sine 4-22-11. And everyday we get closer- with more clues, more items, more puzzles. And T-Shirts. And Magnets. And Tickets. And bumperstickers.

I'd love to see Cedar Fair, Six Flags or SeaWorld Parks pull of something of this scale- It shows that a park in the middle of Pennsylvania Dutch Country CARES enough to show the world they're serious about their rides.

I have absolutely no problem checking out a bench in the middle of Comet Hollow. Seriously, I'm not going to see any of the people there again in all likelihood so if they think I'm strange, oh well. I feel like it's my way of contributing in some small way if I can be there to find whatever it may be. I'm not super good at finding the computer coded stuff so it's my way of giving back to everyone who shared what they found.

To be on the safe side, you might want to wait until late May (after Memorial day) or early June to ride this thing given that the park has never opened anything new before Memorial Day for the last couple of years.

Good to see them using the .gif picture clues again. I love those.

^ What he said. If you want to check out a ride in its inaugural season mid-May is definitely not the time you want to go. Either June or better yet in the late summer, early fall when the crowds die down a little and the kinks have hopefully all been worked out.

I've already figured the ride won't open (if HP's history says ANYTHING about it...) tll the last weekend in May- however, once the date IS announced, I'll change my ticket (I'm in the travel industry...) I got a fare from PHX (Phoenix, AZ) to MDT (Harrisburg, PA) for 240.00 R/T- and that was TOO good to pass up.

I do have a question, though for the 'locals' there- How difficult is it to get from MDT to Hershey? Having never flown into MDT before- this is a new challenge that I'm already planning for!

Getting to Hershey from Harrisburg International isn't too bad. Look for Route 283 and follow the signs toward Harrisburg. Follow 283 until you see the signs for Route 322. Take 322 east toward Hershey. There are a few stoplights along the way on 322. Stay on 322 until you see the signs directing you to Hershey attractions/Hersheypark Drive. There are signs directing you to the park entrance.

Ugh- I forgot one -small- problem. I don't drive.

I should have clarified that when I posted! I'm looking for ground transport to Central Hershey (I've yet to pick my hotel, etc.) but from the airport there is the key issue.

You might be able to take a city bus to the bus terminal in Harrisburg, then take another to Hershey. If you stay at a resort hotel, Hershey might provide transportation from the airport (I remember reading this in a guide book awhile ago and I don't know if they still do this. You might want to check).

I know a faster route from the airport. Take the Airport Connector to Route 283 and go on East 283. Go past one exit and get off at Vine St. At the traffic light, turn left and travel on Vine St. for about 2 to 3 miles until you get to Rt. 322. Get on 322 East and exit on Hersheypark Dr. It's about 10 minutes from start to finish.

Hope this might help.

How about a TPR tour there in 2012?

I sort of heard a rumbling about that- and I'd be doing that trip TOO... HP is one of my old stomping grounds- so going twice in a year for me is -perfectly- acceptable in every way.

(Add me to the 'early list' for the HP tour)

But after the hours, days, weeks, months, nightmares, dreams, clue-searching, clue-breaking, t-shirts, bumperstickers, toilets, stars, sand, mud, weird flashing GIFs, colour codes, strange number sequences, etc. I sort of want to be there on Opening Day, too... at ALL COSTS

If you're flying into Harrisburg International, there are CAT (Capital Area Transit) buses that run from the airport to downtown Harrisburg, then to Hershey.

Bus fares would cost ~$20 round-trip... and would take you to Downtown Harrisburg, and after switching routes, to Hershey. Unfortunately there are no direct CAT routes from Harrisburg International to Hershey that CCron and amy_mel mentioned :\ I believe taxis would be more expensive than CAT buses, too, but don't take my word on that.

Also, like CCron mentioned, Hershey Hotel and the Lodge BOTH offer transportation to the Hotel/Lodge from the airport.

Also also, The airport itself has six car rental companies to choose from.

I also recommend going to the park when there are no events scheduled for the Arena/Stadium/Giant Center.

Ok. I'm sitting on the bench in question. There is indeed a full QR code taped to the back lower left corner. I scanned it and all I get is 01.r On the back of the code it says 1Comet. The ride op from Waveswinger just about killed himself making sure it code was still on the bench when I was done. I rode Comet and found nothing unusual or new. Unfortunately I don't know how to post pics from my phone to the forum. If anyone can give me direction I'll gladly follow this scavenger hunt.

I can't help you with the clue itself but as for uploading the picture, it depends on what kind of phone you have. I'm assuming directly uploading to your post isn't working on your phone. If you have a twitter app, many of them upload your pictures to sites like yfrog and twitpic automatically, but the drawback is that you need a twitter account.

also, you can try image hosting sites like tinypic and imageshack

hope this helps :/

The 11 letters did spell out ride the edge. We found the 12th QR code behind a bench in front of the doomed restrooms. It said 12 NEW. Their way of telling us where the ride entrance will be located exactly?
