Yesterday was great fun. And to think I almost decided not to attend.

If everything Jay and Tim told us was true, then SFMM will become "the place to go" instead of "the place you go instead of."

SFMM wasn't crowded at all (heck, I even got a solo ride on Superman--The Escape). I didn't ride much, but I didn't go to ride---I can ride anytime because I have a season pass. I went for the behind the scenes tour and Q&A with management. And I'm glad I did.

Thank you to Robb, Elissa, and Kristen for their hospitality. (Special thanks to Kristen for letting me hold her!) I will enjoy my piece of Flashback track for many more years than the ride actually stood at SFMM!!! Glad to see it "rusting in pieces." It shall never again harm another soul.

Good food, good times, good friends, good fun.

Jessica and I had a great time. It was the first time we actually liked being in the park. Usually we would stop by for a hour or so, just to get my adrenaline fix. Saturday was different story. There were ride ops interacting with guest, clean midways, and after getting my free souvenir bottle filled, I was told to "enjoy the rest of my day." In the past few years, this is the kind of service I would not have associated with MM. From what I saw and heard things are changing for the better. The WOW has begun.

Thank you to Robb and Elissa. I have been out of the theme park loop for a few months, and what a better way to come back. Tour, food, party and a piece of Flashback (I stole the track piece from Jessica).

Thanks Again.

Thank you to Robb and Elissa and all at Magic Mountain who made this event possible! It was truly one of my bests visits to SFMM and one that actually had me excited to return. I could notice changes that already had taken place. Magic Mountain certainly has a bright future with this management team. Keep up the GREAT work!

Thanks for removing the leaves! One of the many things that made my day!

I echo the sentiments here--my thanks to Robb and Elissa and the staff at Magic Mountain for a great day on Saturday! I think the park is moving in the right direction.

Thanks Robb and Elissa for an outstanding TPR event. You guys NEVER disappoint. As for SFMM... when I went last spring I could already see a difference. The park was cleaner and security was plainly visible. It was already a much more pleasant experience. After Saturday though, I'm really optimistic about SFMM. The management team was truly passionate about their plans to elevate the SFMM experience to what it should be. Can't wait to see how it all shakes out. Thanks to Jay, Tim, and Neal for sharing so openly with us, and thanks again to Robb and Elissa as well as the other guys helping out at the party for a great time. You guys are all appreciated.

Can't wait for X2

I got an e-mail from Jay Thomas today thanking me for sending him a copy of my SFMM history. I've attached it here for any of you to read if you so choose. It's an Adobe PDF document---I hope y'all can open it.

To Jay, Tim and Neil. You have a fantastic plan! Your creative energy and passion for the park was infectious. I am excited for you about all the wonderful changes you are putting in place. You and all your staff truly WOWed me on Saturday. I saw the first stages of a massive transformation and was very impressed. I wish you all continued success in re-making Magic Mountain into the shining gem that it once was. The next few years are going to be very exciting.

To Robb & Elissa, without you two. This event would have never happened. Thank you again for putting on another world class event. I say this all the time, but I mean it. You both rock! Hard! I am so glad I could make it out for this event and look forward to West Coast Bash!

Jay you are sorely missed at SFKK already! I want to thank you again for the awesome tour and hospitality you gave our little group at SFKK last year after HoliWood Nights. It's great to see you here and best wishes for your stay at SFMM!

Can someone elaborate a little on the changes/ q&a questions e.t.c. for us poor folks that were not able to attend? I want to get just as excited as you guys are

^ We are working on a report from the event, but not everything that was told to us we can talk about. You "had to be there" as I mentioned in the post on page 9:

They told us SO MANY things that are soon to come. Some of them we were sworn to secrecy to! We got a presentation on Thomas Town, X2, and many improvements we will see this year (again, stuff we can't talk about yet, but we will be able to soon!)

Thanks Robb, that is my first forums for TPR.

Zamperla Rockin' Tug sound like a good idea

more flat rides like Six Flags Over Texas already got 10 rides added.

I think that make room for Dark Knight was located was near Batman the Ride, Grinder Gearwork need to move and location to replace tilt-a-whirl and new color scheme. Frisbee sound like great for room where the Crazy Barrels on site. I don't see Sierra Twist and Spin out for sale on internet? maybe Sierra Twist can move to where spinout on site? spinout is demolish? Save the Tilt-A-Whirl that we seen bamboo on panel was great for room for near Ninja and shopping or somewhere that called Taku Twirler or something the name the design for the asian theme, paint the dragon on the tubs, lantern around the tilt-a-whirl? Freefall is demolish and make room for Tom Hawk's Spinning Coaster? maybe. Rocking Tug is great room where sierra twist on site? maybe they need to get a new S & S tower ride was great room where swashbuckler on site with pirate theme. Swashbuckler is move to where near Baja or Camp area near shopping. Gran Prix track maybe room in under the revolution lift and drop because there are too much trees under the revolution. well other one more spinning that called Barrels Break Dance (rodeo) from Six Flags New England was good location at near camp and cyclone bay maybe. Screaming Swing and Wood Roller Coaster, Top Spin? or something to make room from Psyclone on site. wood coaster sound better that called "The California Giant" like Texas Giant at Over Texas. Giant Screaming Swing was room near cyclone 500. that is my good idea about the Six Flags Magic Mountain for the rides in the future.

Thanks and good night, Larry
