Hey everyone and thanks for checking out my photo t.r..

First I want to thank my friends Massimo, Luca and Stefano for making those days so awesome!

We left Milan (Italy) on Friday June 15th at 2 pm and we arrived at Europa Park at 9.30pm, we found our hotel and here's a view from the hotel's top floor.

After dinner we spent some time walking around Silver Star's first and with my cell phone I took this nice shot.

So we walked all the way around the park and back to our hotel.

-- Saturday June 16th:

We arrived at the park a couple of minutes before the opening just in time for my friends to buy the park admission and for me to get my free admission with my Gardaland season pass.

First ride of the day was Euro Sat just because there was no line and in my opinion it's not worth to wait in line for it. It was pretty fun; better than when I rode it last year.

Then we went for our first ride of the day on SILVER STAR. We rode it in 4th row. It was awesome even if the trims were on a little bit too hard.

The first drop was amazing and the first two camelback were incredible. After the turn around it was still very good but not so forceful.

Then we moved to the wild mouse (Matterhorn Blitz). I think this coaster has the funniest queue line ever! I wish I knew german to understand what the animatronics said.

When we got out from Matterhorn Blitz it was around 10am so we decided to ride the new dark ride: A.... Atlantis (I can't remember the name) that had just a 5 minutes wait. It was pretty fun but nothing too exciting.

It was pretty cool the fact that you can rotate your car to shoot to the targets in every direction. I bet that in the wrong hands it can become the first spinning dark ride in the world!!!

At 10.30am we had a meeting with our friend Renato in front of Poseidon's entrance but he didn't show up so we rode Pegasus.

The moment we stepped into Pegasus station it started to rain VERY hard so we waited inside the station for the rain to stop. They didn't stop any ride; and that includes Silver Star.

Here's a shot of Silver Star from Pegasus'lift hill:

Pegasus is a pretty nice ride even if it's a little too short and the first drop is pretty cool.

After Pegasus we took a little break to visit the Greek themed toilet ride!!!

I also took some classic signature shots of the Greek area of the park.

At this time Poseidon had a 60 minutes wait so we decide to take the monorail and see if we were luckyer with Atlantica Superplash.

We were right; the wait for Atlantica was only 10 minutes.

Here's me in line for Atlantica with my friends behind me.

After the Super Splash on Atlantica we moved on Alpenexpress.

There's nothing particular to say about this ride except for the funny smell in the tunnel!

After the ride we did the walk through to get some pictures of the sad creatures that work in there!!!

He's the BOSS:

This is the entrance to the Scandinavian part of the park.

Next ride of the day was the evil spinning Mack ride aka Euro Mir. As last year I did the first part of the ride forward and the rest of the ride backward. The backward part made me feel pretty dizzy!!!

For lunch we went back to the Greek area to get some Gyros which is a sandwich with meat and some special spices from Greece.

After lunch we decided to rest a little bit so we went on the tower to get a nice view of the park from above.

ù

Then we rode the Russian dark ride and the family friendly water ride.

So we decided to ride Poseidon because the line for the bobsled coaster was too long.

Finally, after Poseidon we went back to Silver Star to get our front row credit. The line for the front was really long and the sun was really hot. I really think that Europa Park needs to do something about the outside part of the queue.

Here's some Silver Star's dirty technical details.

One of the reasons I wanted to ride the front seat was to take this picture.

Yes, it is pretty steep!

After this amazing ride on Silver Star we went back to Switzerland to ride Schweizer Bobbahn. Here's a view of the amazing Swiss themed area.

To close the day in the best way nothing is better than a ride in the back seat of Silver Star!

Wow you shot some really nice pictures of Silver Star. I also love that ride, despite numerous people who say it's lame. I dont understand that.

Thanks for sharing!

Whats with that shield going up the lift and down the drop?

Did I see trims in 2 parts of the ride?(not including MCBR)

Silver Star looks awsome minus those breaks.

The same reason why GhostRider has a roof over its first drop. And why Maliboomer has fiberglass "shields" in front of the harnesses.

It's to keep riders' screams from projecting towards the neighborhood.

Fantastic photos - and you were really lucky with the weather.

Ahh looks like such a great park, will definitely have to include it on my European park quota in '08.

Love the Greek toilet too

Nice PTR. Seems like you had a blast....Even though I never rode Silver Star (or been to germany for that matter) I'm kind of a secret fan of it. I dont know its just something about it that I like....

Nice Photo TR. Europa Park is one of my favourite park But what's that wall-thing at Silver Star? It's doesn't look good

Btw. the Matterhorn Blitz queue - is it the one with the "man" asking for "cock"?
