Louise Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 What the heck, where's mine?!?! I really hope it arrives before Jow's, just because it will crack me up sooo much if he's dead last.
BeemerBoy Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 I had to go to my post office today so I asked why people in Australia, Germany and Canada all got theirs before I did (still hasn't come in). Don't forget Norway (thanks Tusenfryd!). What the heck, where's mine?!?! I really hope it arrives before Jow's, just because it will crack me up sooo much if he's dead last. For those who may not realize, Joe is actually the closest person in proximity to the actual mailbox from which the cards were sent! This experiment is proving to be priceless. Thanks again to those of you who have received your cards and posted in here. They look great! I can't wait to do a postgame wrap up.
mmousefan Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I hate mexican postal service! ~ Joel " I just hope I get it before I leave" Saury
ParkTrips Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 For those who may not realize, Joe is actually the closest person in proximity to the actual mailbox from which the cards were sent! that just made me feel even worse :'>
robbalvey Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Yay our postcard came in today! I like how you were able to predict the future on the "My thread will be on the front page" thing! Anyway, we read the card at 16:11 on 5/31/07 --Robb "Hello Mr. Horizons Butler..." I miss this old school EPCOT ride.
BeemerBoy Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 ^ LOL. Yeah, I guess I was channeling Horizons a bit, and took a stab with predicting the future. I get lucky every now and then. By the way.....Joe, that's another one.
SharkTums Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I still want to know how Wes who only lives like 15 miles from us got his a week faster!!?!? Stupid Jeff Johnson!

Wes Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I still want to know how Wes who only lives like 15 miles from us got his a week faster!!?!? Stupid Jeff Johnson! The L.A. mail system is so screwed up they launched a congressional investigation into it.
ParkTrips Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I hate you all. edit: as crazy as the results have been, I totally coulda predicted it
mmousefan Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Mine hasnt arrived yet!!! Oh yeah im in Mexico, its probably comming here by donkey So the delay is totally acceptable ~ Joel " I bet it gets first to the moon than here" Saury
Adriel Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 So I woke up today at around 9.28 a.m. and I already find this so the time the postcard came must be about June 1 between 4 to 6 p.m. because I didn't open my mailbox yesterday. So it takes about 9 days. Notes: Singapore time I love the postcards. Thank you very much!!
mmousefan Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 ^ Ok after seeing this I think my postservice donkey just died on the way here. This su*ks! ~ Joel
niiicolaaah Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 LOL... somebody in Singapore got the postcard before Joe and Joel... I am so loving this!
Louise Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 ^ ME TOO!!! Like I said in a PM to Scott: Postage stamp: $0.90 WDW Annual Pass: $400+ EVERYBODY worldwide getting their postcards before Jow in Georgia.... PRICELESS.
moinab Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Hey Jow - Once this is all said and done, I think it would make a great story for your local media. They always love these "incompetent government agency" stories.
BeemerBoy Posted June 2, 2007 Author Posted June 2, 2007 ^ That would be hilarious. ^ Ok after seeing this I think my postservice donkey just died on the way here. This su*ks! ~ Joel Don't worry, Joel. Technically you haven't lost to Jow just yet! Keep the faith, my friend. Somethings tells me the dead donkey still has a better chance of arriving before his. To sio and Adriel and all our international friends, thanks guys! You've all represented your countries very well! Wish the same could be said for Italy.
Adriel Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 You're welcome!! Where are the other 2? I think they're for Jow and Joel?
BeemerBoy Posted June 4, 2007 Author Posted June 4, 2007 Actually, including Joe's, there's currently still 6 unaccounted for....2 stateside, and 4 internationals. However, Tom's (UK) was knowingly sent while he was on vacation, so it can't really count towards the timing element of the experiment.
ParkTrips Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 .... 4:20PM on 6.4.07 I'm sad that it took so long but taking long is a funnier story than it being lost!
