What is your favorite pizza chain and one of a kind place?

I don't eat pizza much anymore, but when I do, it's usually at Topper's, a small Ventura County chain.

 

As for a bigger chain, I like Ameci's. The others are just too commercial tasting.

 

I make a mean chicken pesto pizza with a whole wheat crust, but I haven't for awhile.

How the heck can anyone like Cicis?!?!? As if the food wasn't bad enough, the clientele is usually consistent of white trash!

 

I didn't know this thread's purpose was to bash people's favorite pizza. Wow, even stereotyping too.

 

So what if I like it. Most people don't even like the kind of pizza I like anyway. But Cici's will gladly make it for me. Whenever I go there, I get my money's worth. $4 for a pizza, bread sticks, and brownies is a good deal to me.

Pizza Chain: Pizza Hut

Local Joint: Yaphank Pizza. Yaphank is where I live on Long Island and the place is only 3 minutes from my house. It has the thickest possible pizza crust I've ever had .

Of the "Big 3" (Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa Johns), I'll take Pizza Hut.

 

Regional Chain - "Round Table"

 

Local Chain - "Toppers Pizza Place" in Ventura County

 

Local - "The Pizza Store & More" in Laguna Hills

Never been a big fan of chains, and since I can't seem to find any local joint with the ability to make a decent pie, I have been forced to call Dominos more often than I'd like to admit. However, I'm amazed to have fallen in love with the new Memphis BBQ pizza they offer now.

 

I miss Doughboys in Fort Lauderdale. That was my favorite local pizza place.

Cassano's and Marion's Pizza in Dayton Ohio are my top too, with Pizza the Hut a close third.

 

Naturally, I have to mention Showbiz Pizza from back in the day. Ahh, good times, good times.
