I must say that's the oddest list of that type I've seen. They did at Top 7? And they named it top coasters and put Drop Zone on there?

AOL must be high.

AOL are crack ho's, they are that high, WTF Tower of Terror at Dreamworld - that blows almost as much as the Magic Mountain's, at least they had Ride of Steel and Dragster in the list.

Wow... they've got a picture of Dueling Dragons for Hulk.

maybe the picture is correct and the title of the coaster is wrong?

This is even more craptacular than the MSN list.

They are totally right about #8 though. That ride scares the hell out of me every time.

OMG AOL needs to seriously rethink this list. How is Collosus number 1?! Basically, I think AOL just went through some of the world's most popular parks, and picked their biggest thrill ride. Also, I love the picture of Dueling Dragons for Hulk!

These would be my top 7 most frightening rides.

7. Top Thrill Dragster- Nothing like accelerating to 120 mph in 3.9 seconds and going up 42 stories.

6. Big Shot- The world's highest thrill ride with tremendous airtime at the top.

5. Zamperla Turbo Force- A psychotic ferris wheel with erratic spinning of the gondola and whip effect.

4. Slingshot at Old Town- Sitting in that ball waiting to be capitulated 365 feet in the blink of an eye makes the old heart palpitate.

3. Gravity Works Skyscraper- Nothing like spinning on the light ride carriage at 70 mph and 165 feet flopping all of the place both forward and backward- with only seatbelt straps to boot!

2. X Scream- Sitting in that front row on that tiny little track 866 feet above terra firma makes you wonder what if the brakes don't work?!!!!!

1. Kissimmee Skycoaster- Ah yes, the number 1 most terrifying ride on earth. It takes on up in a harness, no seat , no restrants, nothing, 300 feet and the first 130 feet of the incredible drop are taken head first!!! Definetely not for the weak!!!!!!!!

Do you think these writers even rode these rides, because it seems as if the asum that if a ride has a 400 ft drop, goes 100 mph, and has 20 inversions it has to be the greatest coaster in the world.

Posted

No That is the title of the list, I wouldn't make it up. But seriously i got a good laugh out of it. I mean there are alot more coasters out there that are waaaaay scarier. Goliath at SFMM could have possibly been up there. And this was a list of the scariest ROLLERCOASTERS not thrill rides so why did they have a drop ride up there ?????

WAAAAAAY Lame
