^ I've been done with The Stranahan Fairgrounds for a few months now, I'm just posting the chapters now.

I haven't really decided yet what I'll do after HHE... I might go ahead and start my mega-project Kingdome de Disney park or I might go back to Taiga for a few years. I might also do a really cool movie-like project that I've been wanting to do.

It'll be a while before I officially decide, though.

valley and they can't build above the tree line

I've started several parks out that way and I never can finish them... I'm not sure why, haha.

I'll be having a park go up for sale pretty soon so everybody keep an eye out for it.

The only problem with the Japanese parks is that there's so little Japanese CS out there...

I'm interested. I am sorta stalled with my curent projects, so getting a park that is already built up somewhat or has just been started could be good to work on.

Anyway, I am excited to see this park return. Are there any plans for sort of a sister coaster to Fahrenheit in the works?

Update

Year 36

Well, I move back to Hawaii tomorrow! So you know what that means: regular Hershey's Hawaiian Escape updates! I'm really looking forward to moving back home - but the park's been in a bit of a slump the last seven years. They haven't added any major new attractions, just some new shows and general park improvements.

However, the park is about to make a comeback with their latest announcement:

HERSHEY ANNOUNCES SOLAR FLARE

HAWAII - Hershey's Hawaiian Escape announced plans today for the park's only launching coaster - Solar Flare. The ride is a product of Maurer Söhne, known internationally for their thrilling rides.

Known as a X-Car coaster, the ride features unique open-air trains that give riders a stadium-like seating arrangement. The six-seat trains feature a unique lap-bar restraining system, providing an even more thrilling experience.

Solare Flare will send riders from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a matter of seconds, sending them into a dive loop. Riders will soar vertically into the sky before cresting an roaring back down vertically into an immelman inversion.

Riders will then be treated to a highly overbanked turn into an s-bend element that will turn back to the brake run. The total experience will be about 60 seconds.

The ride will replace the Red Zone coaster which suffered from heavy downtime. The ride will be the center of the new Hawaiian Research Center section of the park which will give guests a scientific look at some of the best features of the state of Hawaii.

The ride is expected to be open mid-summer to allow time for the Red Zone coaster building to be removed.

The park opens for its 37th season soon.

Looks like a solid attraction, which the park really needs.

More soon!

Update

Year 37

Well, I'm back after about 7 years!

It's great to be back home.

The turnstiles building saw a small facelift.

I heard the park is due to receive a new logo any day now.

That's a site I've really missed.

The park was pretty crowded for opening day.

The volcano got a facelift last season.

I like Kissing Tower in its new location, it's in a more centralized spot.

Unfortunately it'll probably be closer to the end of the season before Solar Flare reopens.

Tidal Wave still looks the same.

Tantalus still packs the same punch as it did before, although it has aged a bit.

More soon, including Solar Flare construction.

I'm really glad that you've started this park again. It's really good to see all the "old" coasters again, and I'm really looking forward to following this park one more time!

I'm really excited about Solar Flare and where you'll squeeze it in, cause this park is just packed with coasters and other rides. So I guess you'll remove one of the other coasters
