Hey - I'm a lurker on the board, if for no better reason than that I don't have much time or opportunity to post. Normally, I'm known by my band name of "Big Mike", but it seems you've already got another famous resident with that name on this site.

Anyway, I'm writing from Michigan, home of Shivering Timbers... and from a coaster perspective, not much else. Maybe once the new park in Gaylord or the rumored park in Mt. Pleasant gets built...

Sadly, I'm probably among those with the lowest coaster count here (only 36), due to the fact that I am among America's "larger population"... meaning that there are quite a few rides I'm not able to fit on yet. Still, I'm well on my way (down from around 400 to 318 so far), and in the meantime I'm able to get my coaster fix from sites like this one - particularly this one!

When I'm not working or home, I'm out with one of my local bands playing bass guitar or singing. And although I fear it may be sacrilege on a board like this, I have to reluctantly admit that having a crowd into what we're doing provides even a bigger rush than any coaster I've been on thus far.

Love the site,

-The other "Big Mike"

My name is Cody. I live in Sterling, IL, about 2 and half hours from Chicago. My home park is Six Flags Great America, and, like Big Mike, my coaster count isn't amazing: a mere 46. I'm a student at Sterling High School. I enjoy farming, riding 4-wheelers, listening to music and going to concerts, and of course, riding roller coasters!!! I look forward to meeting everyone here! I've enjoyed everything so far.

Hi from Colin, from the land downunder.

I have been viewing this website nearly every day for the past 2 years. This would have to be the most informitive website regarding theme parks I have ever seen.

Keep up the amazing work Robb, it is a pleasure to read and view.

Hey everybody! My name's Seth! At time I live in basel, Switzerland...basel is a town...kind of. Its that boring and switzerland too! - No rollercoasters, no skyscrapers, no friendly people;)! I just wanna go back to USA. Actually i'm from LA California but we moved when I was young.

I really really like dive Coasters! Sheikra in Busch gardens and Tower of Terror in Gold Reef City (johannesburg) are my favourite coasters!

Hehe, and by the way, I'm 18 and I like Base-Ball, Skateboarding and my rats as pets of course. I like to construct rollercoasters with nolimits... and I'm gonna take a look every day in that page if there are some news (is this a correct sentence...?) uhm..nevermind!

okay...take care and keep cool

I am Stefan from Switzerland and i am a former lurker here. So i hope to be a bit more active from now on.

I am a coaster enthusiast in the making and therefore i don't have that much credits. At least not enough to bother counting

I've been to SFMM, Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood and the Europa Park.

@Seth: Switzerland isn't all THAT bad... Well, maybe Basel is

Hi everybody,

I'm basically posting this so I don't get dumped.

I joined the site in March 2006 and as I'm celebrating my 52nd birthday this weekend I guess I'd be one of the site's senior citizens. LOL.

We're starved for roller coasters, and theme parks generally, in Australia. I'm in Sydney and Australia's major theme parks (all three of them!) are up north on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

I've loved the thrill of roller coasters since first riding the great woodie "The Big Dipper" at Sydney's Luna Park as a kid. In 1979 I started travelling extensively overseas and my exposure to roller coasters began. I first visited Magic Mountain in 1980 and it remained my favourite park for years. Colossus is a sight to behold!

In 2005 my partner Andrew and I headed to Cedar Point to ride Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force then we headed back to Disneyland to celebrate my 50th birthday at that park's 50th. My generation in Australia grew up with Disneyland and Mickey Mouse thanks to weekly exposure to The Wonderful World of Disney on TV. I have to say I was disappointed that Disneyland couldn't care less about the fact that we had travelled from Australia to celebrate the double 50th. From LA we hit Las Vegas and did all the coasters there.

If I'd known about this site and joined prior to that, maybe Robb could have worked a little magic with the folks at Disney. Oh well, to those of us starved for great coasters, I think Robb and the team constantly provide a touch of magic.

Hopefully, we'll join a Theme Park Review trip sometime soon, maybe in 2009. Next year my best mate is turning 50 so my partner and I will be joining him on a trip to Florida's parks to celebrate. It will be November 2008, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, now I've rattled on long enough to be considered a boring old f**t, so I'll sign off.

Hopefully this will keep my membership active and I won't get dumped because of this ramble.

Keep riding for the rest of us!

I'm Josh.

I've been around for quite a while, and I've hung around quite a few people from here, whether I mentioned TPR or not. I hadn't posted much until recently.

Oh, and as the title says, I'm Elissa's REAL Boyfriend.
