Canobie Fan Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 So yeah... I went to SFNE 3 days in a row... heres the TR... Friday the 27th So there was this little "tpr member meetup" thing.. So I went and met up with pete4winds and ECZenith. So yeah..Its like Frightfest.. Closed ride list... (its fun to see it changed over the 3 days) Lex's Arcade in Superwhatever land..is gone. SROSs line was sooooo long... Yeah.. SFNE is smrt... they turn SROSs mist on when its like.. 40*.. Yet then when its 80..Its off ...insert lame joke here.... parkparazzi Eww... We rode BDK.. At least it didnt have a line. Blahblahblah BDK. Area 51.. or Rockville.. something like that. Crackaxle Canyon was looking like a 'real' Ghost Town. We rode MSP use'n the sololine...yay. After that we went over to Cyclone.. Where I rode in the back.. because im cool like that. And then one photo on the way out of the park.. woo Day 2 - the 28th. So.. I got to the park and found all of 10 cars in the parking lot Yay closed ride sign #2.. woo Thunderbolt was closed... but it did open later. Well with T-bolt closed.. I rode Scream.. Where I got the car to myself (Look how PACK'D the park was! ) And here comes the best photo from this TR..... Yeah.. I got a ride on SROS ALONE ONLY PERSON ON IT! !! (I got 10 rides in an hour.. And I was only the 90th person to ride it all day) And now... I give you..... "The Honey Mustard Tower" Hmm... Whats going on down by PITT... Hmmm..... Hmmmmmm........ You wish you got the "ert" I did Yay for 3 people on the SLC... Oh shoot.. SOLO TRAIN #2 for me! (First time I solo-rode ME in 3 years) Eh... Its better then Batman... Dundundunnn.. SOLOTRAIN #3!! (eww BDK sucks) Wait.. Am I at Six Flags... or Boston Commons.... Tomahawk was..uh..closed. Exclusive photo of the seats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (!!!!) ... I didnt get to solo train Flashback.. they held it so a few other people could get on. Join the Army - rappel from a leaf "Extreme close-up" Wait.. Is this place even open?! Oh yeah... Soloride... #4! ::O! MSP had zero people in line ::O (Not like its good or anything..) Just as I was going to get on... The thunder roll'd in. CLOSED! after like.. 30mins the ride opened and I rode it.. yay. Yum Yum cart... Boooooooooo - When I left I was told only 250 people came into the park all day () Day 3 - the 29th. Yay for random park crap in someones car.. Yay closed ride sign photo #3 This sign show'd up overnight.... SROS had a line today.. But it did run both trains. Hmm... And now for 2 photos of what I like to call "Forgotaboutville" yay! Yay for the closed bridge... Yay for the line of nothingness More people were getting Erased today... Chaos.... Batman Knight What? This is that "parade" Six Flags had been bragging about. lol.. This is the first time I have ever been on PITT with a full train. Weeeeeeee............... Uh... I ran out of captions.... Exclusive photo #2.... Hahaha.. Remember when this was like... A ride.... And... Exclusive photo #3 ::O Oh.. And on my way out of the park after 3 days of SFNE... I got SOLO-TRAIN-NUMBER-FIVE!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah... I dont have a life.

downunder Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Cool trip report, I really like SFNE, why ride the rest when you can ride the best, SROS is as good as it gets for my money. The day I went last year, I was on the bus from springfield to the park and I overheard a six flags employee saying that they only had 48 people the day before! Ahh, go straight to SROS, get on and then not get off until you are ready to leave the park.

Plus, seeing the short lines only makes it more of a distant dream... I just have to get to this park. Why was it so quiet? Weather, time of year or did Frightfest frighten everyone away?
Canobie Fan Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 It was just dead. It rained the full drive down to the park. So I guess most people didnt even try to go. And I dont think anyone at the park didnt have a seasonpass. So it was mostly people who live around the area.

(wow, two days left in the season ) but since the park closed before I even got there I was out of luck. They do it quite often, and it blows but what can ya do? Admission is free anyways... Only reason they stayed opened as late as they did was because of an event on the island until 7pm. As soon as the event was over the park closed. ah, that makes more sense.
verticalzero Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I've only been to Walibi World and Plopsaland twice, De Effling, Bobbyjanland, Paulton's Park and Walibi Belgium once this year. Thorpe Park, Blackpool, Walibi World and Heide-Park last year. Not been to Alton Towers since 2002, I don't miss it I get withdraw feelings if I don't go on a coaster for months. I kick off next Season in March at Thorpe Park for my Birthday and in April visit "Oakwood" in Wales for "Megafobia", the only USA woodie in the UK.
