Reon Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Psyclone=Whirlwind=whirlWIND=do I need to spell it out?
Roy56 Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 ^ ^Psyclone another way of spelling cyclone which from Wikipedia: "In meteorology, a cyclone is the rotation of a volume of air around an area of low atmospheric pressure. This rotation is clockwise in the southern hemisphere, and counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere. Cyclones are responsible for a wide variety of different meteorological phenomena such as tropical cyclones and tornadoes. Because of this, most weather forecasters avoid using the term cyclone without a qualifying term." So when trying to figure out Rev's power I went with that, coz c'mon, trying to work Psyclone to Clyclone to wind is easier than trying to figure out Revolution to flying.

You could have made her "slightly loopy"
Roy56 Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 Booyah new page! Of course had to mock the Vu and Scream! but that was inevitable. Enjoy!
timetrial3141592 Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 This is great! I think it is a little bit better than FLIPDUDE's comics.
FLIPDUDE Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 This is great! I think it is a little bit better than FLIPDUDE's comics. *Runs off crying* Naw, just kidding. These comics are, indeedd, awsome Keep up the good work
Roy56 Posted October 16, 2006 Author Posted October 16, 2006 Awww! Don't say that! Our comics are just different! FLIPDUDE is too cool for my school!
WillMontu Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Is anyone else having difficulty viewing the images?
Hercules Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I just took the time to go through this, and it really is great. Keep up the good work! I'm really enjoying it.
timetrial3141592 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Sorry to raise this from the dead, but will there be any updates soon?
rollermonkey Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 ^ Ditto! I was all excited when I thought there had been an update...
FLIPDUDE Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 She already said on another thread that her colorist is on vacation or moved or something. i dont rmemeber what, so there wont be any updates anytime soon

ebl Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 I don't know where I've been, but I finally stumbled across this---and I like it! Eric
stingrock23 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 ^^^ Same here. I've never seen this thread, but really enjoyed it.
FLIPDUDE Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Awsome update!!! glad to see the six flags back in action!
Primogen18 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Just decided to check this out, and this is awesome stuff. Its cool that we have 2 comics going on here, It would be even cooler if we could get a hold of them someday. Maybe TPR could start publishing comic books lol, signed by the people who made them. Who knows, if either of you goes on to become animators, these TPR comic books will become very collectable items... Keep up the good work though, looking forward to more!
FLIPDUDE Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 ^Heheh, as cool as that might be, not only would many htings not translate into book form, but it would laso break dozens of copyright laws don't think I haven't htought about it
Roy56 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 It actually wouldn't be bad in book form, since that is how it is drawn, but yeah the copyright stuff would kinda kill me. The most you could do is print out the pages and put it in a binder. The originals are drawn in one of those sketch books that are bound like a blank book. Pain in the butt to scan, but it feels nice to flip through. I am however, working on publishing an original comic, not a coaster or superhero one, rather a simple dystopian, 1984 type one. Drawing the Flags allows for the humor break after drawing the dismal future vision of my original one
FLIPDUDE Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 ^Same. I too am workng on a non coaster comic book. although its in hebrew. but this one is STARRING ME! http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/8709/page87gr.jpg
Roy56 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 That looks awesome! I can't read Hebrew, but it looks neat. You gonna be bringing arts stuff on the midwest trip? My other comic isn't colored on the computer, but rather watercolored. Intensely long to do, but cool looking. The next page will maybe be up in a few days. A character from the comic, he's a reporter named Jack Greene.
FLIPDUDE Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Looks great! Love your style And of course I'll bring art stuff! I go nowhere without my sketchbooks! My suitcase will be, like, one qwuarter clothes, three quarters sketchbooks, spare pens, and colored pencils.
