robbalvey Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 UPDATE: I've added the video to the public downloads section: http://www.themeparkreview.com/videos/video.htm Hey everyone! It's time for another TPR Video! This time around, from probably one of the most 'wacky' parks we visited in Japan over last winter. You thought Nasu Highland in the snow was weird? Check out this place, in the middle of NOWHERE, where we were the ONLY people at the park, and they had this insane obstacle course where we nearly died...MANY TIMES!!!! Download the video here in the Members Only forum: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=256725 --Robb
RaptorBoyASU Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Wow, totally random. Ugh, I so need to do Japan eventually.
jamesissoocool Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 very very good i like the part where your saying the parks name and then TOMATOOOOO
weeow Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Once again, my love for TPR can not be expressed in words. You guys are awesome. "Come on Quaker, you can do it"
IwantRevenge Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Lol Derek (?) should feel better. He's not the only one who refuses. Elissa whats with the Tomato!
ECZenith Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Yet another "Jet coaster". How many coasters in Japan have that name anyways... let's see-28. That slide looked like it hurt, and I'm also interested in this mysterious tomato. Did you win it in a crane game or something Elissa?
SharkTums Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I posted in the other thread, but I'll explain it here too... If you watch our entire Japan DVD it will all make sense!!! We went to Uminonakamichi after Space World. At Space World I won a 'smash the plate' game and got to choose a stuffed veggie or fruit! I chose the Tomato!
robbalvey Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 Yet another "Jet coaster". How many coasters in Japan have that name anyways... let's see-28. "Jet Coaster" is the generic name for a roller coaster in Japan, so quite a few of them have that name.... --Robb
ECZenith Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 ^ Ah, well that certainly clears things up. There's probably just as many coasters in english-speaking countries called just "roller coaster" so that makes sense.
BarryH Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Great video! How many people were in the park that day? It seemed like only R&E&Q, but it still had more people than Cypress Gardens on a weekday.
larrygator Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 ^and the two other people riding the tram. Pay attention Barry.
robbalvey Posted September 30, 2006 Author Posted September 30, 2006 UPDATE: I've added the video to the public downloads section: http://www.themeparkreview.com/videos/video.htm
robbalvey Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 Ok, now this this video had been made "public" I'll unstick this.... Please feel free to post your comments here! Uminonakamichi = "rather strange day" at an amusement park! --Robb
