jedimaster1227 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hey Soren (if this is Soren-or maybe its just a picture of Soren as the avatar), I thought that Argentina was featured last year (or the year before)? Thanks for the update! Do you work at Epcot now or are you just visiting?
Erik Johnson Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I so can not wait. This is the best event at Epcot....yummy!
jedimaster1227 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Has anyone here done the special dinner series events yet. I have heard that they are very good (especially if you like food). Also, it is held inside of the old Millenium Village Pavilion which would be cool to go back inside again (even though it is gutted).
CoasterFanatic Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I absolutely LOVE the Food and Wine festival. Can't wait to make it back there.
BeemerBoy Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 No doubt, this is the best of any theme park event.
Movieguy Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I've never been able to attend this event, but it sure sounds good.
Chrissie Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Damn U Epcot, Doing exciting things once I leave!!

TheStig Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I got hooked on cheddar cheese soup last year (thanks Robb), if they have it again this year I am SO there! Colin C
jedimaster1227 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I got hooked on cheddar cheese soup last year (thanks Robb), if they have it again this year I am SO there! Colin C I too love the Cheese Soup. Just to let you know, if you come to Epcot during the time that they aren't doing the Food and Wine Festival, you can eat at Le Cellier and still get the cheese soup there. It is the same recipe, with a bigger cup. You get more for your money in the restuarant, but you didn't hear that from me...
live2tell75 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 My friends and I love going to the Food & Wine Festival. We have gone the last three years. It's funny as we get older our Fall plans seem to be set around when we are going to Epcot for the festival. It used to always be set around HHN. (Don't get me wrong, we still love HHN!) It is just that the festival at Epcot is always a nice relaxing day. We love to eat and drink our way around the World Showcase. The cheese soup and maple fudge from Canada are always highlights. Last year I really enjoyed the Indian, Irish, Polish and Greek Pavillions -all very good. I know this isn't unique to The Food & Wine Festival, but we always have to have a egg roll from China and end our Epcot day at the French bakery for the yum-o chocolate croissants, they are to die for!
SharkTums Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 My parents have done some of the upcharge dinners and rave about them every year! This is the best time of the year at Epcot!!!
mcjaco Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 The cheese soup and maple fudge from Canada are always highlights. Oh crap....maple fudge.....I'm in serious trouble.....
jedimaster1227 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 My parents have done some of the upcharge dinners and rave about them every year! This is the best time of the year at Epcot!!! I am thinking about taking my parents with me to try one of the upcharge dinners, but we will see. I think the best time of the year is actually a single date at Epcot: October 1st. That is Epcot's birthday and it is cool to be there every year on its birthday. In 2007, Epcot's birthday will be especially great if they end up doing the 25th anniversary celebration we have been hearing about.
