NoahTheBoa
I'd have to say Batman:TR at SFMM. Especially that last couple of turns before the station. And that fact that it is fairly compact just adds to the speed sensation.
Electerik
The way I describe Millennium Force to people who haven't ridden it is: "You know when you're driving and you go around a corner just a little bit too fast and you think "whoa, I'd better slow down"? The whole ride is like that moment." Of course, MF just literally is fast. As for "illusion of speed," I'd go with Thunderhead.
Oni
While I enjoy all the truly fast coasters, rides like EL Toro, Big Bad Wolf, Lightning Racer, and the Great Nor'Easter provide a good "OMFG this is faaaaaaast" feeling, and all except El Toro stay under 60MPH. I find a coaster that is well laid-out to be more remarkable than one that has a massive hydraulic system or a 312 foot lift hill [Not to say that TTD, Kingda Ka, and Millennium aren't amazing rides]

coasterguy618
Well... I'd hands down give it to Kingda Ka. That's the only ride I've been on that goes from zero to "oh holy sh*t I'm gonna die!" Same here.
thomas2
Well for me it's "just" Silver Star. The first time, front row felt like heaven. Sooo cool
Billy
Millenium Force does it for me. Its just non stop speed and a pleasure to ride!
Tömmioh
^^ yeah, true. Quite surprisingly I'll say that Eurosat also at Europa Park has quite a good sensation of speed too imo.
