Vekoma Fan Boy Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 My first one was the Cyclone at SFNE. I got no airtime cause i STAPLED myself in. i thought i was afraid of airtime because of pharoh's fury rides... i still hate them ot this day.
downunder Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 My first woodie was the Big Dipper at Luna Park in Sydney, it was partially burnt down the night I was there because of a fire in the Ghost train beneath it which unfortunately killed 6 people.
sickskillz14 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 My first woodie was El Toro and is one of my favorite coasters of all time. Rolling Thunder would have been first if it wasnt closed when i went last year, but now im glad it wasnt my first.

Sean Menefee Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Giant Dipper (Built in 1924) http://beachboardwalk.com/02_giant_dipper.html
SonOfBeastSucks Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 The Racer at PKI, which I rode for the first time in 1994. I refused to ride another coaster for three years.
verticalzero Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Wild Mouse National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. What a ride shame it's so short The nearest woodie to me is Megaphobia" at Oakwood in South Wales. It's 4 hours drive though. I'm waiting for Thorpe Park or Chessington to add a woodie coaster in the near future, made by GCI or Gravity Group. I may be waiting for a long time as woodies are not a good choice for UK parks.
tinflowers Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 The Screamin' Eagle back in 1999. This was my first as well. Wee!
