  1. Mr. Freeze at SFOT. It makes Flight of Fear look like an Arrow Mad Mouse.
  2. I don't actually know any ACErs who think that. I think you're being too harsh here. And only about half of all ACErs are even overweight.
  3. Okay, that takes it too far. There are plenty of parks with way dumber guests than that. If there was an award for that, it would go to Adventureland IA for sure (because it ISN'T in Ohio - those poor AT voters don't want their state to look bad!).
  4. Wow, I agree with a lot of what you said, but it's not that bad, is it? It was just fine on the 14th. It's not the smoothest coaster in the world, of course (especially the helix at the end), but it isn't nearly as bad as Villain or Mean Streak. You said something about having your hands up on Voyage - HOW?! I stopped trying to keep my hands up after about my fourth ride. It's just too much. I keep them up when there's airtime, but I have to brace myself at the bottoms of many of the first hills, through the turnaround, and through the entire back half of the course or it's just too painful. Tell me your secret.
  5. ^^You need to try riding it again. You really do. It's usually way smoother than Ripsaw. For the best spinnage, bribe the ride ops into letting you sit with only two people in a car facing forward.
  6. Another one? Wow, that's number three. Number five if you count waterparks. But it looks good aside from the "Welcome." Keep it up.
  7. !!!!!!!! If you're wrong, do we have permission to strangle you?
  8. Heck, let's just say it now. It was obviously George Bush's fault.
  9. www.joyrides.com I was about six when I found it.
  10. I've never seen anything like that happen before. That's really weird.
  11. Wow, this is going to be insanely hard to recreate in the RCT games. I can hardly think about it without my brain starting to hurt.
  12. Don't dis Minnesota. I've never had any problem on Timberland Twister. IMO, it's a better ride than Spinning Dragons.
  13. JUNE 18: KINGS ISLAND (CoasterCon XXX), STRICKER'S GROVE -new park to me-, WONDERPARK -new park to me- Here's where the fun started. We were half way to the park when my dad discovered that he had left the trip book (directions, money, etc.) in the hotel and he needed to go back and get it. I rode to the park with friends while he went back to look. ERT was at Nickelodeon Universe on pretty much everything. The wonderful people at Kings Island got Giggle Coaster running for us. Halfway through ERT, I get a frantic phone call from my dad, who has scoured the hotel room and cannot find the trip book. On top of that, his iTrip broke in the car on the way there, so he has to find a Best Buy or an Apple Store somewhere to get a new one. Fortunately, I knew exactly where the trip book was (turns out it was exactly the same color as the carpet and it was hidden in the shadows). But this was only the beginning of the day's events. The drive to Stricker's Grove wasn't bad and the park itself is very nice. Tornado has some surprising airtime and there's a good set of flyers. After lunch, we drove to Cincinnati Mills Mall to ride Boa Squeeze. Other than the presence of a roller coaster, this place completely sucks. It feels completely empty and it doesn't have good stores. We're about to leave when my dad realizes that he doesn't have his wallet. Not his regular wallet with credit cards and money and stuff (thank god), but his sport wallet, which contained his Maxx Pass, his SF Pass, and his ACE card. Not good. We hurried back to Stricker's Grove and looked everywhere. It wasn't anywhere to be found there. It wasn't at Wonderpark (Cincinnati Mills Mall) either. We never did find it while we were on vacation. We finally got a call about it from the Apple Store in Cincinnati where he got a new iTrip a couple days ago. Thank you, Jesus. Guest Relations at Kings Island, being awesome, as usual, knew my dad was a Con attendee and let him in without his pass. Before we knew they would do that, we got a two-day pass at Meijer, which they refunded. We arrived at the park just in time for the Beast walkback. And that is where I will leave you for right now. This was interesting. They were having a rehearsal as we walked past. It may look tame... BUT JUST WAIT UNTIL THE LIMS KICK IN!!!! *video contest knock-off - some of you may get that* We are such whores. "Ocean Merry-Go-Round" Wonderpark. These were under Tornado's station. That drop right there. Oooh. Airtime-o-rama. The train takes you unnecessarily far away from the park. Stricker's Grove is much prettier than Little Amerricka. YES! This is the biggest Round-Up I've ever seen. The drop right behind the first one is the best. Awwww. This ride got me so dizzy. I can't believe I went on it twice. Stricker's Grove had free soft drinks all day. The schedule of events... and my knee... It might not be Big Bad Wolf, but at least it isn't Tin Foil Drag-on. Son of Beast was closed all four days. Imagine that. Yum. Nick Universe. The helicopter thing is themed to Lazy Town. Lazy Town scares the living daylights out of me. It's like Barney and clowns rolled up into one terrifying package. Cosmo! This coaster was surprisingly great. Probably the longest line they've ever had. See? Every time.
  14. Both of you ride one time in row three and you'll see exactly what I mean.
  15. The words "I think" need to be added to your vocabulary.
  16. Reupload. I have no idea if this will work. The box was already checked when I went into the game, so it might not make a difference. You still need Wacky Worlds. Worlds of Fun.SV6 WACKY WORLDS REQUIRED.
  17. ^^I'll go upload it right now. It should be up within 15 minutes. But you still need Wacky Worlds.
  18. I'll have you know that Beast is my #3 coaster. That's even ahead of Voyage. Ahahaha, Number #3, haha. The Beast is nothing special. It's really quite pointless now with the magnetic trims. Just a ride through the woods with brakes every 1500 feet or so. To be honest, I liked recaR and the kiddie wooden coaster more than The Beast. And the funniest part is the sign at the entrance that claims that "enthusiasts from all over the world recognize The Beast as a top 10 wooden roller coaster." Are you kidding me? The ride is this: -Lift -Drop with brakes (no airtime and slow) -Turn -Hill -More brakes -Slow drop -Turn -Long straight with brakes at the end -Boring turns, hills, and tunnels with no speed (caused by brake) -Former airtime hill that now has an anti-rollback strip at the top because the speed was greatly lowered by the brakes. -Lift -Straightaway into double helix with brakes -Neutered double helix -End of ride It's really just a scenic ride through the woods. Anyway, back on topic, GL was really dead when I was there (June 5th, a Tuesday with cold and cloudy weather). It's almost depressing when you enter a park and there are more employees than guests. I'd give it 2 or maybe 3 more years before it fails and all the rides are shipped off to other CF parks. Maybe Carowinds will get Dominator... Oh my god, let me have a f*cking opinion.
  19. I'm sorry, but Voyage gets way to much glory. If it were any other ride, everyone would bash it for being too rough to enjoy. Don't get me wrong, the airtime and pacing are incredible, but the second half gets too rough.
  20. I was pretty limited for the supports (I assume you mean Ukukwi's). I only had one pack available and it wasn't a very good one. I'm working on my building style. I think they turned out well, and I guess that's the most important thing. Thanks for the comment. I'm glad you like the park.
  21. I've never heard of that happening. I'm excited to see some concept art for this or something.
  22. Good, because you shouldn't need it.
  23. Typical Tom Rebbie... "I did it all by myself and nobody helped me." Yeah, right. I hope Voyage gets these soon.
  24. This park has potential to be really, really good if you don't overdo it like you overdid HHE. Great job so far. All of it looks really nice.
