  1. ^dont worry. no matter what they do, someone will be protesting.
  2. Heh, I know there's another "Banana jump" style slide in holland, because the ones in Israel are in an awsome water park called "Yamit 2000" which is basically trying to replicate a certain water park in holland, forgot which one though, so the previiew pic for these slides that they had in the media before theyw ere constructed was from the holland park. Yamit 2000 is an awsome park and one of the two(if not THE) largest water parks in Israel.(which means it's an okay park in US standards...) Chmilo, do you frequently visit Israel? O.o There is another awsome park located real close to me called the Meymadyon, it also has a take on them shotguns. There are 3 short tubes, EXTREMELY slippery(Seriously, if I hadn't known better I woulda said they actually propel you) that end in mid-air about a meter and a half above a VERY deep pool(and you pretty much sink the entire depth of the pool anyway). Very very fun, and even though ride time is like 2 seconds you'd be surprised how long the line can get(they usually only operate one of them) And I know we're talking about shotgun slides, but while we're at the topic of the Meymadyon, I absolutely have to make apost about these: The Meteor slides. Now, just for the record, these pictures don't do them justice, they're extremely steep and extremely tall. and oh so extremely EVIL. Can you say "wedgie machine"? Basically you get into one of the slides, you slide down, about one second in you can't see anything or breathe because of all the water (did I mention the slide is square, instead of bowl-shaped? that basiclaly means it has walls for you to hit on the way down) then you straighten out, and WHAM... The slide doesn't even got into a pool, the bottom part (where on most slides there will be a straight part to gently slow down the passengers?) is basically just a really shallow bank of water. so it stops you pretty much at ONCE, getting your bathing suit up to your shoulders and giving you one of the worst backaches ever. Which is why I never ride them anymore. And while I'm on the subjct of evil slides... If anyone here is a big water park fan like me, you want to go to Turkey. Almost Every single big hotel in that country has it's own waterpark. Plus, you can sometimes enter the hotels nextdoor through the beach and use their waterparks. not to mention they have alot of water parks anyway! Plus, The stay there is REDICULOUSLY CHEAP!(probably cus like ONE member of the staff speaks english, but its not biggie...) So one time me and my family were vacationing in Turkey(It's one of the places Israelites(and fromw hat I saw, brits) vacation to the most) in an AMAZING hotel callled "Silence beach club", our room had a view over the waterpark(that had a tube slide that goes uphill, by the way, yet not a master blaster), so after pounding every slide there and every ride in the amusement park(oh yeah, it had its own little amusement park) I decided to try and get into the htoel next door becaus eI saw they had taller water slides. At some point I managed, I went to the tallest of the slides, which was an enclosed tube, red on the outside, but black on the inside. And that was absolutely one of the craziest slides I've ever been on. First of all it starts off with a turn. not even a small drop to give you speed, jsut a turn. THEN it drops. Now, I have this little trick I do for extra speed on waterslides(I wont say what it is, though, because I honestly found myself almost flying off kiddy slides while doing it, so its dangerous) so I did the trick, the slide drops down, takes a turn, drops down some more, makes a right turn and BAM left turn. ... SPEEDY WATER SLIDES SHOULD NOT HAVE S-BENDS!!! Needless to say I slammed into the opposite side of the slide. and was now sliding on my stomache. I turned around just in time to see the end of the tunnel racing towards me, and at an angle!(Meaning the slide ENDs at like a 20 degree angle slope straight segment.) and SPLASH into the water. It hurt, it confused me, and im not sure how healthy it was. needless to say I rode it like 15 more times that day.(What a rush!!!) Also, for you fans of extremely evil slides(you know who you are), Turkey is the place for you! I picked up a flyer for one of the local water parks and as part of the description it actually had something along the lines of "________ is the first aquapark in Turkey to have speed slides that dont rip sliders' bathing suits!" Well, now! definately something to put in your press release, isn't it? couldn't find a picture of the evil slide so I rebuilt it in RCT3. it was kind of like this only taller.
  3. If I ignore the sillyness of having a princess in New Orleans, I, as a cartoonist, feel obligated to say: YAY!!! 2D HAND DRAWN ANIMATION!!! VICTORY!!!
  4. ^Actually its because Universal's is $50 and Six flags' is $200 more.
  5. Here in Israel we have an interesting take on the shotgun slides. instead of flying off horizontaly you basically plunge into the pool It's a whole lot of fun, but sadly it comes with a high risk factor for belly-flopping. ouch.
  6. I didnt even read through the whole thing but $249?!?! Are you KIDDING me?! Thats a 5 star vacation in another country for me! I'll stick to the fastpass thank you very much
  7. Regardless of what was said in the post above me, I think that's one of the most beautiful pictures youve taken
  8. Rockin' Jungle cruise= awsomest thing ever. aslo a very big "wish I could be there" moment.
  9. ^ I find that amusing considering you got a cartoon charecter of yourself
  10. Oh my god, are you guys friggen kidding me? How could I have missed this thread?! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! There I was thinking I'm TPR's resident artist! Would seem I'm not even the best in the cartooning department! *COUGHDRAGONFLYCOUGH* I want to see a big version of the finished big dipper drawing! And that donkey.... FRIGGEN AWSOME! and the Geforce thing... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I was "No friggen way that's a drawing!" Well you guys all know my TPR art(and if you dont, SHAME ON YOU! A background I made based on a series of animations I made I don't fit in FD3 Parody - soon on a T-shirt near you! An illustration for a horror story fanfiction made about a couple charecters of mine I don't like old people.
  11. Oh my god.... the last couple of photos... more for the "Kidtums' Photo Album of Horrors" experience when she grows up. she doesnt need to know how much it cost to birth her!
  12. ^Lol, sorry, I already have a charecter planned out...
  13. ^^I beleive that when two gigantic coaster loving forces(I.E. Robb and ELissa) collide the results would probably be... THE SAVIOUR The one to make painful wooden coasters smooth! The one that shall bring intamins to the land! The one that shall break the 600ft barrier! ...She shall dazzle us with her ability to turn crowded water coasters to walk-ons! ...Make it so just one operating train on only one hour of ERT will be enough for all 100 trip-goers to ride several times 'till they're ful!l ...And one day to possibly, after 300 years, bring back the russian ice slides from the dead! Jeez, I thought I'm jewish.
  14. Refference'd on the first comment. I feel so honoured
  15. ^Only you can make that sentence wrong in more ways than humanly conceivable.
  16. The new photos are HILLARIOUS and SO ADORABLE! I saved the KT meets Yeti Ball one to my comp I burst out laughing at the "It's a kidtums!" ... *14 years into the future Kristen sits around with a couple of friends looking at the cake picture* Kristen: Seriously, my parents are freaks. Naw, I'm just kidding, I wholeheartedly welcome the arrival of the world's youngest coaster enthusiast! In fact, she probably doesn't even know she is one yet! And the T shirt your firends got for her is HILLARIOUS Robb! So is Yeti ball going to be hers now? I know that this is the age children tend to find that one doll or pushie or whatnot that they grow emotionally attached to, And what's better than giving the ultimate coaster child the ultimate coaster mascot? Though even if not, I doubt you'll have a hard time finding a spare doll to give her
  17. ^Thanks And I dont intend on there being a storyline per say, last itme I tried it it didnt turn out so well(The whole final destination fiasco)
  18. ^Oh for pete's sake. that stupid "X D" filter got me again.
  19. ^^^^They only made the "official press release" then. if youll check you'll see there have been some suspicions of Elissa being pregnant even beofre that.
  20. That's really awsome and id totally ride it but I doubt its in any way realistic, I just dont see how that thing can withstand anything beyond 2 vertical Gs.
  21. ^I just ran a search, nobody suggested Kirsten. However, KT's middle name is Taylor. tytydane suggested Taylor Alvey BelizeIt suggested Kira Taylor Alvey
