Ok I decided to go with my Diablo track... I just haven't created anything better since and it is the one I am pretty happy with... Hopefully some people will ride it and tell me I am completely insane or something... Yes it does run 3 trains Hope people like it. Damnit... It took me this long to realize I posted in the wrong thing again... Seriously I fail at the internet... Anyway I'll leave this here and re-post it on the real competion one because I can't delete it anymore... [WoodenRC]Diablo.trk My insane creation... 3/4 view with score Overhead view Side view

Well I was just kinda messing around with it and added a new section. I'll work on putting it up in just a few minutes. Just for fun change the color of each section as you go so we can tell where the different people built on. Ok well hope everyone enjoys the new section I added. I think it is kinda cool. I put in a block brake so that there could be more than 1 train. Feel free to add more lifts or boosters. Enjoy. Cool shot I just liked... Hopefully it will inspire others to attempt it. Overall view of the entire thing currently. Shot of the new sections. I decided to color the mountains while I was messing around. partycoasterstep3_kenshinmac_124.dat Newest version of the coaster

This is just for fun for everyone CoasterDude... If you want to add something feel free to. Just post what you have done with a screenshot and the new file when you finish. I mean heck it will be damn cool to see what different styles of building people have and just see what kind of crazy coaster we end up with in the end. I'll tell you this it is gonna be huge. Well hopefully. C'mon people help out...

pucechan I agree that Raging Torrent is one of my faves that I have ever built. I dunno I just love how the section right after the mid-course brakes looks. It actually makes me feel like I am actually dropping into something on a coaster. I dunno I just have never really had that sensation in an RCT game before. Then there is Rampage which I love because the speed is almost perfect throughout the whole thing. It is just as close to perfectly toned speed as I have ever come. Ride it and you will see as it eases into the station without the help of any brakes during the course. I love it. Wildfire I have decided is a bit too simplistic for my tastes now but it should make for a good pre-built ride for some of the parks in the game. Who knows it will likely get used again. Diablo is pretty impressive to me and my best rated one yet but something aobut the structure just doesn't feel right to me. It just kinda lacks the feel of Raging Torrent and instead looks like some sort of snarled wire. Admitedly it is a damn cool look but geez I dunno something about it just doesn't click for me. I think at this point I am most happy with Diablo because of the rating and the fact that it does look insane. I kinda wish that Raging Torrent had rated higher... I'm leaning towards putting Diablo into the contest though...

Rct 3 Soaked - How do you do tunnels?
kenshinmac replied to Jak's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Yeah you need to create a fully flat slope by using the single land drag tool. Then you just need to create a face big enough for it to go through. -
Ok so I was getting kinda sick of the amount of wooden coasters that have been in the forum recently so I thought it would be time to start a new type of challenge. Ok so the idea is we have a park that has minimal themeing and the start of a rollercoaster. Add your section to the rollercoaster and then hand it on. Hopefully by the end we should end up with something really interesting. Ok so the general rules are: *If you want to check out a section to modify make a post saying so. Also place in your post when you intend to return with the update. Please no more than 3-5 hours. (this is to avoid someone making the same section) *Please do not modify what someone else has done unless it is unavoidable (examples: no new piece can be added due to positioning of last piece) *Feel free to theme what you add and any section that has so far been unthemed *Place the final modified version of the park file up along with a new picture when you are done with your modifications Ok hope that is clear enough. Hopefully people will find it fun. I tried to use the most flexible coaster type I could think of. Well hopefully this experiment will prove fun. Once again my apologies to those without Soaked... Unfortunately when someone with Soaked saves a file it becomes a Soaked file... Overview of the rather short section I have done so far. Feel free to take it wherever you want. My rather poor attempt at themeing the station... Sorry... PartyCoasterStep1(kenshinmac).dat First Step of the Progressive Coaster. RCT3: WonderWood

Please post this park soon... I want to see it. -
Ok you need to make sure that you have saved them as jpeg files which will have the .jpg suffix. To do this you go into MS Paint or some other image editing program and select "Save As" usually from the File menu. Then you select the file type JPEG or jpg depending on the program. You also need to check the size. Sometimes you will need to scale your image to make it the right size file. Try shrinking it with the "stretch/skew" menu selection in Paint. Just enter values less than 100 and it will shrink. I can't say how far you will need to shrink them but I think the end file needs to be less than 170k. Hope that helps. Oh and BTW this direction is called uploading...

lol... What is that an even cheaper Vekoma MadHouse? Seriously that should have been the source of many a joke... -
Well I just surpassed my previous rating by quite a bit... I have just built my Diablo which is pretty damned crazy with insanely low clearances to the point where there are areas where there aren't supports shown for quite a distance. I'm not really sure whether this is the one I like most though... I'm just kinda torn... Any opinions? Once again only minor modifications after the initial build... I dunno it is just the way I prefer to build. Otherwise I don't end up with the sort of flow I like. Hmm just noticed there is actually a discrepency in the ratings between pics... Strange... [WoodenRC]Diablo.trk Trackage... Check it out and tell me what you think. Personally I think this one is truly nuts. Final Pic Overhead view Diablo... This is my latest and best rated...

Just to correct my earlier mistake with posting in the wrong place I am gonna bring everything over here... Ugh this is gonna take a while... Well I thought I would share all 3 of the coasters I have built that have been inspired by and 2 that actually fit the contest rules. Keep in mind I have soaked which screws with the single coaster rating... If you go with multiple coasters close to each other you get a great rating but meh whatever... BTW I don't believe in more than 1 brake mid course... I also favor twister style coasters over the more straight wooden coasters. Take my rides for a spin in the on ride camera. I got some places in each that are just insane. Hope you guys enjoy them. BTW most of these rides were just stream of consciousness... IE I just built where I could and didn't modify a thing. Well anyways feedback is appreciated. Yes I know this is a long post... One last shot of Raging torrent Different View of Raging Torrent Raging Torrent... This is my best rated one yet. There are portions I really like and ones I don't. One last one of Wildfire More WildFire WildFire my latest creation More Rampage Rampage is can't be a contest entry as I believe it doesn't fulfill the soaked requirements but I love how it looks. [WoodenRC]WildFire.trk Wild Fire my most recent attempt [WoodenRC]Rampage.trk Rampage the first coaster created based on the preliminary rules for the contest. Doesn't quite measure up to the rules I believe but it is a blast. [WoodenRC]Raging Torrent.trk Raging Torrent my more insane creation

Should we have RCT competitions
kenshinmac replied to crispy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You know the thing I don't get is the ride is 1:32 and the thing says it pulls 23 seconds of airtime... I just don't really see how that is possible... -

Thought I would just share my attempts... I've got Soaked installed so needless to say hitting 7 is a little close to impossible... But hey I thought I would get some feedback anyway. BTW if you guys want me to post the track file just ask. Front View of the Rampage View of the Back of the Rampage -
New S&S Drop Ride VIDEO!
kenshinmac replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No no no... Magnum all that really matters is the bottom of the cabin. Unless that fails nothing really horrible would happen. From the look of it the whole thing is pretty much solid with no moving parts. Nothing is gonna go wrong in it unless the floor buckles. That said... I don't think I could ride in a ride vehicle that small... Especially in darkness.
