Where do people get these ideas that smaller parks are all underperforming? I mean the costs of the big parks must easily be enough to offset the larger gate takings. I mean take a park like Elitches. The most they could have possibly spent for the last few expansions must have been $5 million tops. Then you have Magic Mountain spending some $21 million every other year plus all the other expenses that come with running such a huge park. Honestly if someone can show me numbers I am willing to accept it but it just kinda seems like people are just kinda picking on the smaller flagged parks.

I went on Colossus last summer and I didn't find it bad at all. Well I guess technically it was the spring since it was in May. Still it had a tiny tiny bit of a shimmy in areas but no real bumpiness.

Another edit... Looking at the different stuff one can't really tell which it is a clone of. The tracks are almost identical just with more of the roll elements on the Colossus. Unfortunately we can't see those... I would be inclined to believe it is the 8 inversion style that you linked to though...

Um... Just out of curiosity isn't this what it has always said? I mean you can't use just the season pass to re-enter the park. You also need a handstamp just like any other person who is admitted during the day. I don't think this is a change at all...

The sticky at the top has info on how to post images. Make sure they are converted to jpegs using something like paint and make sure they are small enough.

The fanboats are transport rides. You need two stations associated with the same ride. There is a button that looks like the station icon but with a star. Just click that and it will create a new station track. Hope that helps.

Is it just me or do the colors on those pics look better than the ones from the PC version? Seriously... My pics from my PC version always look kinda washed out. How is the mac versions performance? I might grab a copy later when it drops in price for my macs. Heck one of the big reasons I got a PC was for the RCT series. Well that and certain programs I needed for classes.

Why doesn't it have a longer line? Doesn't it seem like a coaster like that should have a bigger line?

They changed something about the scenery files with Wild! and you need to download new versions.

You can say what you want but no one wants to sit waiting for a half meg picture to download. Bitmaps are the devil if you want a better compressor try looking at a program called "The GIMP" which will give you more flexibility in your compression.

Please Please Please... Just convert them to jpgs and post them to this server next time. You have kinda a cool idea but going to another site to wait for huge bitmaps is no fun. Just run them through Paint and you can just select "Save As" and pick JPEG in the file type.

Every one of the coasters added since Boomerang I believe didn't get track or start construction until like March. Sure it is a short timeline but the problem is that you can face big problems with winter construction. Besides we aren't that likely to get anything big enough to take more than a month or two to put together. My guess is that they might have a chance at some of the small rides at Astroworld and might be considering those for placement in the park. Personally I hope that we get something good from Astroworld. Maybe one of the coasters and a few nice flats but Elitches seems to be the red headed step child of the "flagged" parks often.

Um none of those are complete circuit... Personally I am torn I love the old Shwartzkof ones but I think the old Arrow style with the drops is a heck of a lot of fun. I mean that air off the end is pretty damn cool. Of course one could say the main disqualifier of Boomers being any good is as far as I know only Vekoma makes boomers... I know I have seen some similar styles but none with the same layout as the traditional boomer that I am sure the poll is about. Oh and seriously am I doing something wrong on the Elitches Boomer? It kills me everytime I go on it but Twister seems to have no problem

What happens if they change portions of the track due to wear or if they need to re-profile something? Does that make it a new coaster?

Don't say those sort of things... Paramount might be listening... Besides with the split coming I doubt we will see much more of the movie themed ride... (thank goodness) I would be much happier with an original ride rather than something based off a movie...

Ah thankyou... Somehow I didn't realize they operated quite that independently. Tell them that we love them for providing us with something different which is something Discovery US seems to have forgotten how to do. Of course at least Discovery US is going to show it... I could use a break from the motor oil which seems to be the basis of 90% of the shows on the network now... I mean seriously I watch the occasional Extreme Engineering and every episode of Mythbusters... The only other show I got remotely involved in on Discovery was that Crab Fishing show...

Yeah there is some weird formatting on some of the videos that caused them to fail on multiple of my players. Thankfully I found that VLC seems to play almost everything. BTW Would it be possible to get some feedback either privately or publically? I know I blew a lot of stuff but I want to know what you think I should focus on... My PM to Robb contained what I thought I did wrong.

Thanks for the update... Out of curiosity why is the US channel getting it later? Is it because for some reason every Discovery network in the US seems to be getting more and more crude? I honestly watch one show now... Mythbusters... Sadly I used to spend almost all my TV time with Discovery networks... BBCAmerica(any of the great BritComs and FakingIt), TLC(Junkyard Wars junkie, Full Metal Challenge)... I miss those days... Anyway I can't wait for the dates... I'll set it up to record for sure.
