The Line For Cannibal that Starts at Sky Coaster should be 105-115 Minutes, if they have 4 Trains in the System., 120-130 if 3. -

Gotcha. I'll try to shed some lbs in the meantime until my visit, which may not be until the second week in August. Overall, Lagoon is pretty Fatty Friendly with 2 Click Rules/On Board Monitoring Systems and Big Boy Chairs on Cliffhanger and Samurai. Air Race, Rocket, Cliffhanger, and Samurai can be a problem with the Class 4 and 5 Restraints. -

Especially because it lives up to it's name. So, you're saying it actually eats people. Duly noted. I'll cross that coaster off of my list to ride! [emoji14] Nope, it just Eats all other Coasters in their Tracks. I see what you did there...! Yup, and all the Credit goes to Lagoon for that one. Nice! Someday, when I'm visiting relatives out in Denver, I should just take a couple of days and come out to check out your fine-looking park (and devour Cannibal, of course!) It's not THAT much further away at that point! You definitely should! -

If you want to meet up with some peeps from LagoonisFun, just let me know. Always like meeting new people I might be able to meet up that evening, but I've been mostly avoiding Saturdays now that Cannibal is Open and the Commercials have been Airing. EDIT: Crap! Double Post. LOL. X2isawesome, myself, and maggiekat will only be there probably til about 6pm. Then we have to run back to the airport to fly back to Vegas. I'll pm you my number if your available. I've been telling people not to bother riding Cannibal at all if you don't ride it after dark, since it's just so much better after dark. So far, everyone has agreed. It's too bad you won't get the full Cannibal Experience. Also, if you aren't aware, Costco has the Best Prices for Lagoon All Day Passports at $39.99 and they are GAD Tickets, so you take them right to the Gate. There's a Costco conveniently located off of 1-15 at 400 South, in Bountiful. I would also recommend getting to the Park at 9:30am, so you'll be able to hit everything early, since most head to LAB. If Cannibal isn't Open yet, hit Wicked, Spider, Mouse, Dragon, Coaster, Puff, BomBora, Bat, Jet Star 2, then Check on Cannibal. With the Flats, I would also recommend hitting Samurai, Rocket, Air Race First (#1 Green and #5 Blue are the Best Planes), and Flying Aces Earlier, rather than Later. Don't discount the ZIERER Family Drop Towers either, they are Awesome, and Jumping Dragon too. Turn of the Century and Screamer are the best ZIERER Wave Swinger and HUSS Enterprise Rides I've experienced, since they are Operated as Designed, not Neutered. Don't miss the two Dark Rides, Terroride and Dracula's Castle either, as they are Bill Tracey, with a bit of Lagoon. Lagoon's Carousel is also the Fastest I've been on, and I love my Wood Carousels. Pioneer Village, if you get a Chance, take a Gander. Lagoon has the Only Nickelodeon on Public Display in the Music Hall, the China Shop has Books from Brigham Young's Collection, the Dern Barn has been Rated as "One of the Most Haunted Buildings in America," the Coin Museum is Insured for over 1 Million Dollars it's self, the Armory has Butch Cassidy's, as well as other Outlaws' Guns, Rifles used in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, the First Soda Fountain in Utah is in the Bakery, the Rock Church and the Jail are must see as well. I'm also Related to the Builder of the Gingerbread House, and the School House is where my Great Grandfather went to School as a Boy and Shopped in the Co-Op too. Rattlesnake Rapids is a Great Ride Designed in House by Dal Freeman and Lagoon, with Intamin as a Contractor for the Ride System. Cliffhanger can be a Fun Water Ride too. There's also a lot of little touches added around the park, like the Dragon Ivy Tunnel behind Jumping Dragon, the Chandelier in Tipsey Tea Cups, the OdySea Song, Air Race's imbedded Platform Lights and Becons, the Correct Japanese on Samurai, the Japanese Paintings on the Chinese Themed Jumping Dragon, the Jeeps on Red Rock Rally named after Off Road Trails in Moab, the Plane Model Names on Flying Aces (Fokker and Swordfish are usually the Easiest to Snap), the Speedway Jr. House with Lagoon's Address, and numerous other details that are great about Lagoon. I believe Lagoon is the Only Park in the Country with it's own Private Water Treatment Plant and with the Co-Gen, now Offline, was able to Produce nearly 3 Gigawatts of Power, while using the Water from LAB to cool the Engines and Heat the Water in LAB. I highly recommend picking up a copy of "Lagoon, America's Largest Family-Owned Amusement Park," as it has a lot of Great History about the Park. -

Just don't make the mistake of not riding Fire Dragon, BomBora, Jet Star 2, Roller Coaster, or especially Wicked and Cannibal After Dark. If you need someone to ride Jet Star 2 with you, there might be some members of LagoonisFun who could meet you at the park that day. Especially because it lives up to it's name. So, you're saying it actually eats people. Duly noted. I'll cross that coaster off of my list to ride! [emoji14] Nope, it just Eats all other Coasters in their Tracks. Since all body types are different, it's hard to say, however, one person I know that couldn't ride Goliath at Six Flags Great America and Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City had no problem at on Cannibal. -

Fire Dragon at Lagoon has Base Board Heaters in the Waiting Zones and I've seen Cedar Point use the Disk Heater things and Visqueen to keep Millennium Force's Wheels Warm. However, it's just as easy to run Fire Dragon back and forth from Waiting Zone 2 to Waiting Zone 3. However, we don't know if Smiler valleys because of cold wheels. -

This Whole Incident is a Total Failure of SOPs. When you operate a Coaster with Multiple Trains, it's always about Location, Location, Location. No one visually checked and verified the location of all Trains in the System and restarted the Lift, sending a loaded Train into the system where a train had stalled. -
Yeah, Katiland Trains buys old CPH Locos and "Refurbishes" them with God Knows What, and Sells them as "New." I haven't heard of any of the "New" Katiland CP Huntingtons not having Giant Mechanical Problems. New Orleans City Park also Traded in 2 of their old CPH Locomotives and still paid over 200K for a Loco and 4 Coaches. As far as I've been told, all Cedar Fair Parks are all still operated as Individual Business Units.
-
Michigan's Adventure Foolishly bought a "New" CP Huntington from Katiland Trains, which has been involved in a lot of Lawsuits, including one for a Unit in New Orleans City Park that has never worked correctly. MIA is better off buying an older Chance CPH than a New One, since the Older Units are Easier to Maintain and have Fewer Mechanical Problems than the Newer Units.

Lagoon's Operations Team and Ownership has always been top notch with Capacity and Efficiency. However, you will still hear people complain about LONG 15 Minute Lines for Fire Dragon and 20 Minute Lines for Roller Coaster in 2 Train Mode and Full Queues. lol -

I never noticed this before but after you mentioned this, I just paid attention on my last ride (ride #13, left inside seat, last row) and there is definitely a nice pop of airtime going into the dive loop. Probably really nice in the front outer left seat, which I've ridden a couple times but never noticed. I still think front outer right is the best seat. Edit: I didn't see Sid's update until after posting this. So there you go. Lol Hahaha! There is definitely ejector air going into the Diving Loop, which wasn't there a week earlier, not to mention the Speed going into the Diving Loop is higher and the Trim is having to really kick in. -

I've only ridden on the Right 2 Seats on all 3 Rows, so I can't speak for the left side of the Train, but the right is definitely floaty going into the Diving Loop. UPDATE: Rode in the Front Left Seat Last Night, and while there are really no bad seats, Front Left is the BEST Seat. The way Cannibal was running last night, there was Ejector Air entering the Diving Loop. -

You get Ejector Air (Not Extreme Ejector Air) plus it's got that little unbanked curve to it. Super Fun!
