^ X-Flight is not that great. I don't even like riding it as the Vekoma restraints put weird pressure on my ankles, and it's not very comfortable to ride. Add to that spending half the "flying" coaster lying on your back, and it's one that I feel one could do without. The only reason I would like to see it come to KI is my fiance likes it When she's happy, I'm happy. -James Dillaman -
Supermarket Credit?
jamesdillaman replied to Not For Sale's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
We have a place called Jungle Jim's. The guy has a bunch of eccentric things, like a full size boat, an elvis-singing gorilla, and a huge fountain outside with lifelike animals. He purchased the Kings Island monorail that used to go through the animal park. The monorail station was where the action zone grill is now. I've heard from my dad (who does financing for him) that he's been trying to get it up and running. That's the closest thing i can think of to what this is. -James "Will have to get a photo TR from Jungle Jim's for all of you" Dillaman -
I was wondering how long I would have to be a member of this forum before butt babies were mentioned... or at least alluded to. -James (btw, how're you doing, chuck?) Dillaman

Don't get me wrong, I would love it to go to KI, and they could tear down SoB to put it up. They could even burn the timber to keep the workers warm during the winter. I just think it makes the most business sense to put it at MiA, which attracts many locals to its waterpark but not as much to the amusement side (many people I know up there buy season passes for only the waterpark), and with a big steel coaster in the amusement park, I think many locals would spend more time in that section of the park. -James Dillaman -
Would that be Heinz, Hunts, or generic "fancy" ketchup? just wondering, because if it's heinz, then I think Ryan has been attacked by a dragon, because he seems to be turning into ketchup.

I just want to point out that Santa is in my avatar. The reason being that I am really an elf. If you'll excuse me, we're going into our busy time and I gotta make more wii's. People are beginning to get pissed that there aren't enough. -James "In the TOS it says you need a SENSE of HUMOR, take it for what it's worth " Dillaman

Yeah, MiA seems the most logical choice to me, and they are in deperate need of a large steel coaster, as all they have is a wild mouse and an arrow corkscrew. Shivering Timbers is good, and Wolverine Wildcat has seen better days, but they need a Steel coaster. -James Dillaman -

Where would it be built if it goes to one of these parks. I can speak for the one's I've been to (PKI and MiA). I think if it's built at MiA it would be behind the Wolverine Wildcat as they strive to connect the park in a loop, which that park deserately needs. At PKI, I could see it going back by Flight of Fear, with a pathway going out near where the old helipad is. -James "What are your thoughts for WoF and others?" Dillaman -
^ As much as I don't like Michigan, That is BS Look at the facts: Michigan's only loss was to the #1 Team in the nation, and nobody is disputing that. USC lossed to an unranked team, and THEY get bumped in front of U of M by beating a team that Michigan ALREADY KILLED!!! BS BS BS! -James "Michigan and Ohio State are clearly the two best teams, let them play" Dillaman

Even with light crowds at GL I have never experienced good dispatch times on this coaster. If they don't have a top notch crew and keep the maintenence in top shape, then I foresee big problems with the crowds that can clog everything at king's island during the summer. I'll go and ride it, although I already have this credit, AND I don't like the vekoma flyer nearly as much as they only B&M flyer I've been on. (Tatsu) I will ride it, but I'll be sure and go on a rainy day in September -James Dillaman -

Looks like they're trying to copy the hype machine of Mystery Mine, but they announced the ride before the movies came out, then they come out with installments... (to be continued...) ??? Looks like someone doesn't understand. This movie should have been released before construction was completed, probably before much track was in place at all. This kind of hype, like Dollywood did, only works when you release a little bit of information at a time. Not after you do a huge press release with all the ride stats. -James Dillaman
