  1. I just checked RCDB, and it seems this one will be a copy (or the original for a copy, whatever) of the new one for Duinrell (Rick's Delight), personally i'm kind of dissapointed by this, not that its a bad design or anything, just that the 2 new European Eurofighters for 2007 are actually the same, i seriously hope future Eurofighters won't be all copies like the Vekoma SLC's and Boomerangs. The name of the coaster will be "Rage". Here's the link: www.rcdb.com/id3573.htm I'm looking forward to riding the one at Duinrell next year, but at the same time it will make visiting Adventure Island someday a less interesting experience to.
  2. OMG i sooo hope they wont close CCC, like wrebbit said its probarly the best coaster in the park! I was planning to go to MPG next year and it would be a HUGE let down to see it closed. Can anyone confirm if it will stay open for 2007? Otherwise i will have to visit it this year instead of next.
  3. I think this ride is going to be great! I mean, its got all the good coaster elements: Inversion, Airtime hills, launches, 95degree drop, close-to-the-ground fast turs and even theming, its like Cedar Point is trying to put all the recent coaster trends in one single coaster! This might be a weird thing to focus on, but what are those inversions? there's the Heartline Roll, but the other two, are those Corkscrews or Zero-G's? or are they kind of a combination, a new inversion, like a Corkscrew Roll or something? Anyways looks like a great coaster, the variation of different kind of elements should make for an interesting ride.
  4. Ow man that sucks, i really wanted to visit Pleasureland someday, does this mean that BPB is the last park with a classic wooden Wild Mouse? Its a shame to see so many coasters lost, Traumatizer will probarly be bought, but the classic rides like King Solomon's Mines and Cyclone probarly won't be so lucky.
  5. Nice Trip Report! I also noticed the blue & lightblue cars on the trains on TDZ, its kind of funny but it looks a bit ugly to. Apparently you have a strong tolerance for rough Vekoma's, i can believe Super Wirbel being smooth becouse it doesnt go as fast, but Goudurix kicked me in the head several times starting from the first drop till the corkscrews, beautiful coaster though.
  6. Here's mine (my woods are limited since i've only got around 50 credits): STEEL 1 - Black Mamba - PHL 2 - Goliath - WBW 3 - Turbine - WBB 4 - Colossus - TP 5 - Nemesis Inferno - TP 6 - Typhoon - Bobbejaanland 7 - Xpress - WBW 8 - Cobra - WBB (And other good Vekoma Boomerangs) 9 - Comet Space - Walibi Lorraine/Wallygator Parc 10 - Vampire - WBB Note: I think Typhoon is a bit overrated so i recently switched it with Nemeis Inferno, also Comet Space is underrated by other people, its actually quite smooth and good. And Stealth @ TP isn't in there becouse it was closed during my visit (no surprise there). WOOD 1 - Tonnerre de Zeus - Parc Asterix 2 - Loup-Garou/Weerwolf - WBB 3 - Robin Hood - WBW 4 - Anaconda - Walibi Lorraine/Wallygator Parc Note: the 2 Vekoma woodies and Tonnerre de Zeus come pretty close to each other.
  7. Thanks for the vid, SD2K looks smooth and HUGE!, and those last bunny hops look like they contain a nice bit of airtime. I feel so sorry i'm probarly never gonna ride it, if only it was closer to Tokyo i might consider going there.
  8. I dont know why you hate Cobra & Calamity Mine but i must say i absolutely LOVE those rides, and all other Vekoma boomerangs, sorry to hear you hate them but if you don't let the roughness get to you they're very good coasters. Ow and i must agree on Weerwolf getting rougher, it hasn't got to rough but the thing sakes you around pretty good... Thanks for the vids and nice Trip Report, and lucky you for seeing Vertigo test, i've been there three times this year and never seen the thing move... Ow and you should try and pretend to be going to the season pass/information center to the right of the entrance and then sneak around the mascottes when some family comes in, works every time for me . EDIT: Can you tell me how you got the kiddie credit? I get sent away every time i don't even try anymore, can you describe who was operating it?
  9. It looks like a great coaster and i'm sure the experience wont be the same as SheiKra. I hope to ride it sometime soon myself. The floorless dive machine idea is neat but as said before the 10 row cars might look a bit... "to wide", i hope it doesn't make the coaster look ugly but judging from the fotos it probarly wont be so bad.
  10. ^ Avonturenpark Helledoorn (3 coasters) is very close to this park and Walibi World is around an hour drive away.
  11. Wow real nice pics! Apparantly you had some rain, Belgium hasn't been much better also recently, and i see Looping Star was stuck on the lift for a while? I hope you didn't have too much bad luck but i see from he other pics that you also had some good moments. I hope to visit the park next year, i would really like to ride a Schwartzkopf Looping Star since i missed the one in Bobbejaanland, and once again, very nice pics! Yeah i wonder to, i think -correct me if im wrong- that there's a camping area near the park maybe he stayed there and didnt necessarely visit the park every day?
  12. ^ all Walibi's exept Walibi Lorraine were sold by Star Parks to Grevin & Cie, Walibi Lorraine was sold to two brothers from the traveling fun fair circuit, Claude & Didier Le Douarain.
  13. Ow so they're getting a unique ride "Terror House" AND a kiddie land + a credit! Thats even more than i expected! I'm really starting to consider going to Walygator Parc next year!
  14. ^ Wow I even think its a COASTER!!! Check this out: www.rcdb.com/id3643.htm -- Apparently a family coaster. I cant believe this, this is like the 10th time i go to a park this year and when i get home it announces a coaster for 2007! I could be doing all this years parks again next year...
  15. Walligator is the name of the park's log flume (themed to alligators), they probarly got the name from there. Kinda strange to name the park after its log flume... Anyways its a fun name and i hope the park also gets some nice new rides instead of just a new name. I went there this summer and i must say its a nice park, nicely themed, and Comet Space (their Vekoma looper) is really good and smooth.
  16. Thanks for the pics, nice to have someone keeping us up to date on this project, i for one am very interested in this coaster and i hope to get to PortAventura soon and ride it. So please keep us updated and take some pics when the track starts showing up, thanks!
  17. Wow! This vid was put together quite nicely i must say! You come off pretty childish but the editing really makes you look like a proffessional, although it doesnt seem like you were acting like proffessional during filming. So basicly what i'm trying to say is, great video! Ow yeah and pound it
  18. Finally i get to see some pictures of this thing, thanks! I've always been interested in this park and i'll probarly even go there some day (it even has a fun-looking Schwarzkopf!). The ride looks like fun, and the wild mouse turns (if not painful) look like a good contribution, this ride is probarly more fun then the one in Gardaland.
  19. I've been on a normal one and a Huss fly away (fly away is better, as said before) and i must say you have nothing to fear, the rides are fun and the inverting totally doesn't bother me, in fact its actually quite boring and uniteresting (on the normal ones). The fly away is fun becouse of the different experience, the normal ones are fun but not much since it tends to get boring after a while IMO.
  20. I've heard people complain about wooden coasters not being "rough" enough, some people actually dislike Intamin prefabs becouse of their smoothness (not that they hate the prefabs, thats IMPOSSIBLE), they just WANT woodies to be bumpy/rough. I hear the newer GCI's are pretty smooth to, btw. Vekoma woodies are average to very rough, but thats just part of the feeling, and the airtime is just to good to dislike them, especially when the coaster is wet. It all just depends if it's "average woody" rough or "beating you up" rough.
  21. ^ yeah i think a lot of people who responded in this thread came off more agressive then they had ment, and none of them really ment to insult the other, everybody was probarly just trying to help and/or post their own opinion about things. But unfortunatly this thread got out of hand and now it's a battlefield, so lets all forget this thread ever existed and move on with our lives... ... so ehhh... forget about it... now... GO!
  22. Well, if its going to be as impressive as the plans say and if the coasters are any good, i'll be sure to visit it some day!!! This proves once again that arab people can't live whitout us rich western countries, and that dispite recent events, deep down inside they all love us... for our money. (LOL)
  23. I never found wrebbit's facination with SD2K annoying, strange yes, becouse how can you love a coaster you haven't ridden yet? But then i realized that i to have some coasters i would really like to ride even though they aren't so famous, for example: TT at Dollywood (a smooth Arrow!) and Anaconda at Gold Reef City, South Africa (Giovanola invert!). Its just that wrebbit is even more facinated by SD2K, and therefore he wants to express that. And honestly, dont we all have some coaster somewhere of wich you say "i want to experience that for myself!", even though people say it isn't all that good...
  24. I'ts going to be a launched Aqua Trax with 11 inversions, a top hat and lots of airtime hills! But seriously, from what you can see on the construction site, its probarly going to be an Aqua Trax, maybe a looper and possibly launched. But for now there's no way to say for sure what it is, only what its probarly gonna be.
  25. I've always been interested in visiting this park, especially since it's so close to Gardaland, until now i've never read bad reviews of this park, i know its small but it seemed to have a lot of potential and the rides seemed pretty good... From what i read it seems that if they opened more of the rides and keeped them open longer you would've had a much better day, hopefully Movie World invests more in this and hopefully the people appreciate this so more guests will come, even though it will be hard to get guests to choose Movie World over the beautiful Gardaland...
