Yes, congratulations. My only point is with a top speed of 60 the ride isn't fast. I don't think it has to be to be fun but just to state the obvious 60 MPH is not very fast. It could feel fast though. I am still curious about what Mark rose said during the hardhat tour reguarding the faster launch speeds.

Sounds like you guys only saw a shell of LC. The Enchanted Oak added a lot to the area not to mention the original Dueling Dragons area and themeing. Lost continent at night was one of the coolest looking areas I have ever been to. The Potter area looks great but the old area had a better themepark feel to me.

That looks really cool, i hope to make it out to vegas some day. That would probably freak me out a little but I would do it. I wish they let you run off the building like you were fleeing the law or something. Maybe a fake gunfight. -

I agree with her^ because she is hot and the Carowinds photo. -
I think everyone is aware of the final launch speeds, although I swear I heard Mark Rose say the first and third launches were 38 and 48 MPH. I understand that 30, 40 60 was the only thing ever stated in writing and I am sure that will be correct. Others who are commenting on the speed are wondering how fast it is running in this stage of testing not what the top speed will be.

I did not know that about Spring. -
I have to agree about Maverick but I dont see any turns as abrubt as those are. Cheetah Hunt wont be nearly as agressive as Maverick. I think we got a ride that will be fun and very re-rideable but not that agressive. Thanks for the testing video there wasn't any new stuff coming out and then you saved the day. The first half of the ride looks basically up to speed to me, maybe a touch faster. The third launch looks pretty slow right now, I hope it gets bumped up quite a bit.

The rejection was actually a big surprise around here. The City Planning Board suggested it be aprroved and the majority of Tangelo Park home owners were in favor. The zoning board said it seemed like a good plan for a different location stating noise concerns. Tangelo park and their civic orginization are in favor of the project because of the jobs it would create. The original required noise study said there was no problem with noise in the neighborhood. I think the jobs would have been good for their home owners, far better than the bad that would have come from it. Seems to me like a few folks shut down what would have been good for their own community. I would have liked to see them get a chance to try their buisness plan. I still think if they didn't run it like crap it would work here.

^I think you guys who are local will love that coaster. I really like the layout but will never get to ride it. I hope it rides nice. -
^On sunday they were only launching it halfway up the first turn so it just rolled back. They had a crane in place with pulleys in case it got into the first trench unintentionally, just like pull through. While testing the second launch they will probably be very careful not to shoot it all the way into the tower. That would be a real pain to drag it back from the MCBR. As far as testing the trains rolling into the launches, someone real good at math is gonna figure all that out but I can't see them dragging it back to the beginning that often, if ever, unless it valleys. Softs will always be a gamble but I have rolled the dice and won before. I am betting on the 15th.

It was launched into the first trench today, second launch tomorrow probably. I wish I could go out again but I have had all my alotted fun time for the month. My next BGT trip will be on a day when softs are a possibility at least, catch some full test runs at minimum. I am placing my bets on May 15, it's a Sunday and a damn fine day to run it with guests. It could run before then but that seems like a kind of safe day. With confirmed people testing this could change abruptly. I can't wait to ride.

May 7th is probably going to be just a bit early. Hope you have a good time in Florida and good luck on getting a ride. That is like 20 days from now but they said it would run 3,000 cycles before any people get to ride. Probably the week after you leave it will start running with people. You will probably get to see it test though.
