Hey Jarmor, I was wondering the same thing but several people who have seen it in person say it has to go over the top. They claim there is no way it can go under and still have clearance. It seems strange to me that it would go over the top but it would be awesome. This will probably be answered for sure by the end of the day, someone will have a shot of it.

I have heard from a good source that the first s-bend will go over the Skyride. In the official video it goes under. If it turns out to be true the element will have to get up and over and down into the trench under the EOA trail bridge pretty quickly. Sounds pretty cool I hope it is true. Think of how cool this will all look from the Skyride, especially the fly over if true. ^ I think for now I had better rides with the old trains. They were mixed in with rides that were zero fun as well. The Flyers will find the track a little better with time and get a little faster. It felt slow to me but I did get to ride in the back which was no chance before the new trains.

I hope Intamin's Florida debut goes a little better than Mauer"s. I have had some pretty fun rides on Rockit but some just awful ones as well. Here's an idea: since you will never ever ever ever get the capacity you were hoping for why not remove the first brake run and turn it into the mother of all airtime hills .

I took some time on this last trip to watch Kumba run for a while, you can get soooo close. It really is one hell of a roller coaster right now. The year Kumba opened I missed quite a bit of school, some of the best times ever. I also ride back seat right and will have to pay more attention to what you have mentioned. Honestly it was so out of control feeling I just must have missed it. I am going to get back out next week and hope for similar riding. I mean seriously i came off the ride seeing stars. Just great. The reason i ride.

I went out to the park today, sorry no camera, but about 70% of the track is up for Cheetah Hunt. You will be below ground a lot on the ride. It really is looking nice. In other park news; feeding the Kangaroos is great fun, I love the Lories as well. My rides on Gwazi were both limited to Lion and were smoother and slower. I am sure the trains will find a good line and be a little better but I have had better rides on the PTC trains so far. The Flyer trains look great and allowed me a back of the train ride on Gwazi so thats an over all improvement. Looking forward to Tiger, summertime and night riding. Kumba was awesome, one of my best rides ever. They were running one train but it was well worth the wait. This park already has a great coaster line up with more on the way, good times.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

Not theme park related but while watching the Super Bowl my sister said; "wow that guy is a professional football player and a professional bowler?" after hearing that a player was a Pro Bowler. For our non sports fans, the NFL all star game is called the Pro Bowl. -

Chroniq said: "P.S. Friend Request Me." This is funny. I hope to God I have punctuated properly. Oops, pulled the chair out on me. -

I think those new Sketchers would take that right off. -

Wow. Never thought I would see that. Looking forward to the grocery store, do they sell manatee meat? -
^ Have a great time. Sadly I can't go. Reguarding operations on Gwazi: I know the guy from GCI spoke about redundancy for safety but did anyone ask BGT why they dont check both at the same time. In there defense if someone could get away with not clicking there seatbelt to ride I am sure they would. I remember when we were kids we would keep it loose on Blue Streak for more airtime. There probably is a pretty reasonable explanation, I would love to know the honest reason. Maybe with the ride not sucking now they will put more emphasis on capacity. I mean who knows maybe they just didn't really want anyone to ride it before.

Best Drop Ride!!!
dragonskeep replied to coaster_shorty's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The one they bring to the volusia county fair is pretty good. I think it's better than the bigger ones. It reaches the top and immediately drops so you dont know when you will fall. -
