  1. I thought the appeal was going to be heard today, any news?
  2. Being that I am a gentlemen, if it's ok with the ladies then Hell yeah Big Mike. Looks like you guys had a good time and if you need any help on future Laura trips then count me in.
  3. I guess good operations aren't within budget.
  4. That looks like a cool add on to a park day. The one at BGT is on my list of things I want to do. That list is currently by 10 to 1 out pacing the funding for said list but i will do it soon. Hope you had a good time. That was you in the white shirt, right?
  5. My favorites are mostly Intamin but I am in B&M country and glad as hell to be here.
  6. Wow. water and cheetahs , good report. The ride-ops at BGT are pretty lame. If they had enthusiastic people operating the rides it would be a more exciting experience, and a way better park. Is it Friday yet?
  7. Cheetah Hunt will be a nice change in pace from BGT other coasters.
  8. ^ Hey dude don't worry about it. I think you covered yourself fine in your posts but of course TPR can't condone filming on the rides. From reading your post I feel you understand that. I would have loved to see a complete video of the ride myself.
  9. Very good news about Spiderman. It has been needing this make over.
  10. Mark Rose was cool the time I saw him as well. Building coasters and other attractions with someone elses money would put me in a pleasant mood as well. You can tell he is a man who likes his job for sure. For a top notch park like Busch Gardens, it's guests first.
  11. ^ So basically you got fondled by a stranger for a ride on Texas Giant, sounds like a reasonable trade.
  12. It's good to see Universal doing so well with this. Looking forward to getting back over there soon but with Universal screwing me and not bringing back Train for the Summer Concert Series, I don't know.
  13. Too bad about Hurricane, it was a fun ride. I went over to Boomers quite often on a south Florida trip and had a great time there. DBH will be missed for sure. The thing turned great laps every time.
  14. ^ I have only ridden El Toro of the ones you mentioned but it was really f**king good. Why don't we see more of those things built?
  15. Night rides are going to be awesome, you guys have a great time. I will be in line many others on Friday.
  16. I think this would officially freak me out. I guess the ride is still very intense then.
  17. !2 days and counting. It's been a while since I have been to a ride opening, should be long lines but good times. Everyone have fun.
  18. I am glad to see they aren't giving up. I have a gut feeling it will get a little warmer reception this time and perhaps OTP will be in the mood to deal as well.
  19. ^ Yes I was sure they would but it still seems a little small from say the path to the back of PF and not very wide. I looked at an aerial photo and the show building didn't look that big. They will make it work but it seems like only enough room for smallish coaster.
  20. Sandor Kernacs was almost definitely the first rider. Dude has a pretty cool gig.
  21. Universal did an awesome job with Mummy, I would love to see them build another dark ride /coaster. It doesn't seem like they have a lot of room by PF though.
  22. ^That drop off the tower does look to provide some very nice air time in the back. Hopefully there will be ample air time throughout. Speaking of which, I don't think parks put enough emphasis on air time in general. Good sustained floating and ejector air time is what coaster riding is about, it's not a gimmick however and therefore not very marketable.
  23. I actually rode The Weiner Looping without having seen it run before. It was a walk on and just sitting there so we got on. It was quite a surprise the first time, great ride.
  24. Whats the big deal, it's just a one and a bunch of zeros? Oh and you guys who are cheating, I have never lost an Ebay auction ever.
  25. Luckily I have no opinion, as I have visited neither park. Therefore my opinion is better than all of yours because I and only I am impartial. I would make a point to hit up both parks and enjoy them equally so my opinion couldn't be stupid. But BG is clearly the better all around park and not as good as it's sister park in Tampa.
