This strange loop on Desert Storm at Castles n' Coasters in Phoenix puzzled me when I rode it.
The ride also features a more traditional loop, so I'm not sure what was going on here.
Artistic flourish, or ...?
Something about Silver Bullet gets to me after a few rides. I've heard a few people say it makes them dizzy as well, because of how slowly it seems to maneuver through its elements, but the corkscrews followed by its final helix are what I've noticed has the ability to jar me.
+1. The visuals in IMAX 3D blew me away. Up with Star Trek as the best summer blockbuster right now, in my books.
We'll see what Elysium brings to the table in a few weeks.
1) X2
2) Tatsu
3) Goliath
4) Apocalypse
5) Colossus
6) B:TR
...
7) The rest
Hoping to ride Full Throttle in the next couple weeks, so that could change everything.
From the limited sampling I have my worsts are as follows:
Inatmin: Green Lantern. Just painful and wonky. I've had more enjoyable experiences on Boomerangs.
B&M: Riddler's Revenge. Only recently have I found out how dull and uninspired others find stand-ups. For years I thought I was the only one.
CGI is no contest, I've only ridden Apocalypse thus far.
All this, plus it looks like they brought in a new train. Seats, lap bars, paint, etc. on it was all fresh. The old one can be seen disassembled in the Xcelerator queue/storage area.
