Just a note, the only flats I saw open at the last CAD were some of the more thrilling ones like King Chaos, Revolution, and Giant Drop so not everything is open.

Yes, Coasters After Dark is tonight until midnight and the next one is Wednesday August 12th until 11:00. I went to the first CAD and it really wasn't ERT, more like the park stayed open for a couple more hours. Lots of the major rides like Raging Bull still had pretty long lines but i'm sure other parts of the parks were less crowded.

I finally got something other than SFGAm maps. I have a bunch of Cedar Point 2009 brochures, Hersheypark 2009 brochures, and 1 Kalahari brochure. The only thing I really want is 2008 Cedar Point map but i'm up for anything. If you want, I can even send out doubles if you give me 2 maps/brochures in return. PM me if you want something.

Well that sucks. I was on a college trip in Pennsylvania the past couple days. I left for a fourteen hour car drive on monday and didn't get back home until 10:30 central tonight. HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED A FIND THE DUCKY ROUND!!! I'm really depressed right now...

Sadly it's not the Alive version. You can see the Discovery artwork pop-up and the name of the song isn't correct for it to be the Alive version. (Obsessed fan). Those lights look rediculousss. Like Blackpool on speed. And why the hell does it take a minute to get up that lifthill.. I never said that it was the Alive version, only the video was from their Alive tour. The lights, while kinda tacky, are actually pretty cool IMO. Just judging by the amount of bystanders watching this ride, I really hope that it will be successful after all of the delays. Also, I really hope the lift is still in the "testing" mode. It really did barely make it through the double take and into the block brakes. I wonder when they'll start testing audio?

Daft Punk sounds awesome really. Is the track played "Harder better faster stronger"? If so, it will be my first choice when I ride some time in the not-so-near future And, what's with the LEDs on the cars? Only the front car has them? I hope they were doing lighting tests because otherwise it doesn't look too good. Yes, the song playing in the video is Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and the video was from their Alive 2007 tour. I LOVE Daft Punk! As for the lights, i'm pretty sure they were just testing them to see if they actually worked. If they're not on both cars, shame on you Universal!

I wouldn't be surprised if they switched the songs every couple of years to add on to that re-ride aspect. Judging by all of the different songs and genres, I can totally imagine riding Rockit over and over just to see which song works best. Hopefully they'll be able to integrate the songs with the ride itself instead of having it so it sounds like they're playing it through an ipod. The LEDs look amazing as well, very flashy. Wow, simply amazing! I'm extremely impressed with both Ben2008 and Netdvn's artwork. I wish I could design and draw stuff like that. Could you make any tutorials?

^Six Flags? Theme park? Nah While I would like to see a new flat more than a waterslide, I do think a Hurricane Harbor expansion will be needed soon.

I think the sign is there for another Fright Fest maze/area, just like last year when they put the same sign out. I would like to see a Hurricane Harbor expansion and seperate entrance because, as someone said before, it's hitting capacity on most summer days. I'm thinking that if it is a HH expansion that they should put in something like Deluge, a master blaster type ride. They could put a flat ride on the same site, but Six Flags would probably put a new flat in the empty Splash Water Falls area before the SSA area.

Actually I find the ride to be better and have more airtime in the last car. Same, but I think all the rides are fun in both the front and back. I loved the Sky Whirl, it was a pretty fun ride. I have some great memories of it from when I was a kid. Wasn't their some structural flaw that would have cost more to fix than replace?

^Technically it's five, but who's counting. And yes, when I first saw that picture I was like WTF? I think I actually emailed RCDB about it (that pics on their website). I felt so stupid when I got the reply I never got to ride Shockwave or Deja Vu. Vu was always broken and the year I was tall enough to ride Shockwave they built Superman. I will never forgive myself.

I think everyday. I don't see why he wouldn't (unless it's raining or, you know, when the park is closed) As for crowds, they're always unpredictable but my best guess would say it's going to be busy.
