  1. Just went to Six Flags St. Louis and I was able to pick up a bunch of maps and brochures. Here's everything that I can trade. 2. Hey Big Mike, when is the next ducky round? I'm going on another college trip and can't guarantee internet access until I get back on monday. I just don't want to miss out on another round like I did on my last college trip.
  3. I would say that Viper was pretty average that day IMO.
  4. Is that a new nickname for me or did I have a bad first impression? Very nice pics Nathan! It was fun hanging out with you and the rest of the crew.
  5. QFT. I had a blast hanging out with everyone and the QBot really helped us out throughout the day!
  6. I will be going tomorrow. Can't wait to see everyone! I should be wearing a green shirt and shorts.
  7. ^I guess I never really though of Theme park Review as an online magazine, but after hearing that it actually gives me a whole new perspective on the site. And I just thought the 300 coasters bit was amusing considering you've been on over 1000 coasters.
  8. Ooh, more publicity! Just a couple funny quotes from one of the articles. Glad you guys are having so much fun. Those HD videos look great Robb!
  9. Wohoo! Can't wait for more of your amazing reports Big Mike, especially your Six Flags Great America report. It will happen in due time though. Since your driving really far, what is the song of choice for the big man?
  10. Aren't X-car seats in a bit of a V shape so the people in the back are a bit farther out? I actually don't have a problem with those trains, they look fine IMO.
  11. I thought Big Mike wore a gold shirt? It's a bummer that so many coasters have been closed this far. Hopefully the rest of the trip will be more rewarding. Best of luck!
  12. While everyone wants this ride to open, there is a reason that they are so behind. What it is no one is really sure of. Could be structural, could be electrical. But the last thing Universal wants to do is open an unsafe ride. Lets think of an example. How about Cliff Hanger at Ghost Town In The Sky. They've been trying to get that open a while right? Well when it did open they found a problem with the train. Safety isn't a joke. It'll open when it opens. Just be patient and wait until then.
  13. This is now part of my signature for a short while, congratz. Those are some really great pictures! What kind of camera do you use?
  14. Will you be posting the winners of the caption contest as well?
  15. 2 kiddie coasters at Cedar Point, Shockwave at SFGAm because I wasn't tall enough and Deja Vu at SFGAm because it was never open.
  16. Just out of curiousity, but what is your #1 coaster?
  17. Thanks If I can get a ride or car I might be able to come to the park on the 4th.
  18. Just out of curiosity, but how many people have contacted the park saying that they don't want The Big Bad Wolf to be removed?
  19. ^It was cloudy so it isn't as yellow as it usually is? You have to take those kinds of chances.
  20. ^Shoot, I missed the Scat2 one but concluded that the carousel one was probably just a sticker or something.
  21. Here are the 6 duckies that I found. ^On the sign support on the left ^Front of the train ^In the cutout ^Middle of the slide ^In Guy’s hand ^On the road
  22. I just emailed the park to express my opinions about The Big Bad Wolf. While I have never been to the park, I have heard nothing but great things about the ride and I would be very disappointed if the park really does scrap it. I remember back when the Whizzer at Six Flags Great America was planned to be removed for Superman. I wasn't a big coaster enthusiast back then, only a kid who wanted to have fun. And when fun meant rides with a height requirement under 54 inches, Whizzer was my favorite ride in the park. That's why I was heart broken to see a sign above it that said it was the last year to ride the Whizzer. I only went to the park once that year and was extremely happy to see the ride still open the next year. There was so much uproar over the rides removal that Six Flags saved it from the junkyard. I can only hope that Busch Gardens will do the same with The Big Bad Wolf.
