  1. ^^^ even the alligators at Fort Wilderness. I've tipped off a few DL guest relations cast members so they are waiting for someone to ask where the "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Fruit" ride is. (overheard in queue for Rock n' Roller Coaster) "Wow, Aerosmith is actually here?!" for the longest time it was hard to convince people that the fastest ride in WDW was the Monorail. that was before Test Track opened, which might be faster I think.
  2. haha, yeah. Seattle, San Francisco, NYC..all good places to blend in, and with higher percentages of TS women. podunk Bradenton and Sarasota...not so good. but, there are enough resources to transition here and I could even drive down to Miami for the sex change operation. That would probably trump all TR's. ~Allison "that's a tempting TR" Y2K~
  3. I tried downloading codecs to play other files in WMP and I kept getting error messages. checked my net connection, tried a little while later, nothing worked. finally I said 'heck with it' and looked online for an .avi player and found DivX. tried it with my .wmv's and it played really well too. *shrugs*
  4. "The Spicy McHaggis Jig" - Dropkick Murphys.
  5. I knew when I was about 6 that something wasn't right. I spent the next 20 years trying to figure it out or trying to convince myself that I was a normal heterosexual guy. Gay man, nope. Transvestite, nope. Crossdresser, nope. Straight male, nope. I tried being super-macho straight guy, nope that was totally wrong. After much surfing of the 'net I was able to finally understand what I was, and what I can do to change things. Thus I started on the road of transitioning in the year 2000. I stopped living for everyone else and started living for myself, began accepting who I was and doing something about this instead of trying to lie to myself. This was the time AllisonY2K was born. You don't hear much about young TS girls (even 29 is considered young for the average). We're not supposed to be out and transitioning yet, we're supposed to still get married and have a few kids or go into the military for awhile before finally coming out. ~Allison "was nervous about coming out" Y2K~
  6. well, I'm going to breathe new life into this once-dead thread. I voted: I'm a girl who likes girls and guys. (see that 1 vote there?) but there's more to it. I'm a transsexual. a pre-op male-to-female transsexual, to be specific. pre-op meaning that I still have..um..yeah, that. but...I live as a female 100% of the time, which means obviously I look, act, dress, etc.. female. 24/7/365. I have been taking hormones for well over a year now. The two major ones I take are a testosterone suppressant and an estrogen supplement. Basically the one helps the other. I'm about to submit the legal documents to have my name legally changed (no I will not tell you what it currently is) and when I have enough saved up I will get the surgery down there. It's about $15K. I figure if I chicken out I can always buy a car instead. In coming out to friends, family and co-workers I have lost some and gained a lot. I've pretty must lost my entire family as they are having a very difficult time accepting this. I had to create a second family of close friends who accept me and have no problem with it. Of all the friends who I came out to, I think I have only lost one or two which I am thankful that I was able to keep almost all of my friends after confiding in them. My co-workers and supervisors do not have a problem with it. My bosses especially do not care as long as it does not affect my job performance. I was hesitant about coming out on TPR because I didn't think me being TS had any relevance to coasters or themeparks. After reading all 10 pages of this thread I figured I really didn't have anything to lose by coming out, so I figured I would go ahead and put myself out there. I'm very open about being transsexual, what it is, what it isn't, and the steps/process of transitioning. I have gained a lot of respect and admiration since coming out. It takes a lot to put yourself out there, go out in public, be seen by the public, take in any negative comments/stares/etc.. and not let it get to you. You acquire a thick skin since people who don't know you can make some rude comments, both in real life and online. I wanted to go into some length about this because I know a lot of people don't know many (or any) transsexuals personally and in many cases the only way people hear about TSes is because of Jerry Springer ( ) and I wanted to try and differentiate that myself (and many of my TS friends) are nothing like that. Anyway, if anyone has questions or comments do not hesitate to PM me. (Of course rude/immature PMs will be forwarded to the admins.) I did come out to a few people here already and I'm fortunate they don't treat me any differently now since they know. Hopefully in submitting this reply, that will be the same for whomever reads this. *crosses fingers*
  7. 19) TPR video contests 20) Random TRs 21) Late night chats about anything non-coaster related (*gasp!*) 22) Late night chats in general
  8. For awhile now I was using Windows Media Player for watching any and all coaster videos. When I had to find a player for a few .avi videos, I came across DivX. Now I use that to watch both .avi and .wmv coaster videos. For some reason the videos play a lot smoother and aren't as blocky when I view it full-screen. So I was just curious what player you all use to watch videos with. I'm starting to like DivX more and more when I use it to watch anything video-related.
  9. can I use Kill Bill (vol 1) as an example of this?
  10. I was eating McDonald's while watching "Supersize Me". yummy chicken nugget goodness. it hasn't been confirmed, but I swear they put crack in their food..especially the cheeseburgers.
  11. cool video! good music choice too..that was a neat touch. great POVs, and the underwater shots were a surprise. I thought for sure after the first one that it would be the end of your camera.
  12. that was a really cute video! I didn't mind the zooming in and out. by reading the thread before watching, I was prepared for it.
  13. I remembered 3 lovely incidents from when a friend and former CM at Fort Wilderness told me some of the outrageous things the GP has said or asked. 1) resort guest was seen approaching an alligator at the shore of Bay Lake with his little daughter. when asked "what do you think you're doing?" he replied "I was just going to put my daughter on this here alligator." "that's a real gator, sir." "oh, I thought it was audio-animatronic." B) resort guest called down to the main desk (at Ft. Wilderness, mind you) and asked if they could turn down the volume of the frogs outside as they were keeping his family awake. III) resort guest was afraid to leave his cabin because there were ninja turtles hiding in the trees waiting to kill him. I wish I was making #III up, but sadly it happened. oh, then there was the time where the parents of 3 younger children put the kids to bed then headed out to Pleasure Island. the oldest child was found wandering one of the loops (layout of Ft. Wilderness cabins/campsites) trying to find his parents. WDW security had to track the parents down and sadly, since children were involved, Orange County PD and Child Protective Services had to be called.
  14. *nods* It's a lot to deal with, especially the nightmares and flashbacks of what happened. Sometimes that haunts you for many years after the incident. (same is true for military veterans, especially but not limited to Vietnam vets).
  15. given the poll options, I chose #4. although I prefer Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. in all honesty. coke, pepsi, whatever. I drink whatever is on sale that week.
  16. to save space, I can easily summarize my fridge (or my section of the fridge) in a few lines. fridge: 2 packs of hotdogs (no buns. carbs are bad, mmmkay?) 1 3-liter of generic diet soda 1 bowl of old rice that I need to toss out 1 bottle of water for use at work freezer: nothing. ok, there's ice but that's it. I get paid on friday, cut me some slack!
  17. Funky Puddin' Pie is better than no pie! 8) well.....probably in this case, no pie might be better. lol.
  18. I'm all about women's rights (woohoo! feminism!) and the concept of 'women's work' but if someone is supporting you and paying your bills, housework is the least you can do so the guy doesn't feel like you're a freeloader...especially if you have no job. She isn't going to charge for romance because that would make her a hooker..or an escort (same difference).
  19. I loved it. I thought it was an awesome compact design that still yielded a great ride. Granted yes, there was some head-banging. I rode it back when it operated at SFGam as Z-Force.
  20. "What time does the 3 o'clock parade start?" that one is always a classic.
  21. besides Judas Priest. but anyway, awesome video!
  22. :fangs: there is no other emoticon here that can express my feelings about this. as are most victims of rape and sexual assault. multiply that by 4 for male victims since they have greater feelings of shame and embarrassment. I sincerely hope no one here ever has to deal with this because it's not easy, it messes with your head, and affects your trust in the long-term.
  23. I was hoping for a video of highlights.
  24. Needless to say, there aren't many pics or an actual TR because, yeah, Walleyworld was "closed for 2 weeks to clean and repair 'America's *Favorite* Family Fun Park'. sorry!" ..well, that's what the moose said. ~Allison "how much rum did I put in this?" Y2K~ p.s. not to be taken seriously, just something funny I thought of. the TPR gang outside. and look who was there too! taken outside the main gates. parking was great!
