  1. Found a gem on the Knoebles website: https://www.knoebels.com/pricing-planning Skip to January 2019, click January 1st, and click "View Complete Activity Schedule".
  2. Visited the park today, had a pretty good time! Ride notes: -Batwing is running. Rode the front row, and it was actually a ton of fun, and while it was quite rattly, it wasn't all that rough or uncomfortable. I still consider this the most intense ride in the park. -Superman was running well. Rode in front and 2nd row of the red train and both delivered quality rides. -Wild One was absolutely flying! Pleasantly surprised at the intensity today. -Rode RC before 11am to avoid the line that it rapidly develops. Brought on a couple friends and with our combined weight it really spun. Good fun. -The drop tower is just as fun as I remember. Short, but quite satisfying. -Whoever mentioned the scrambler runs fast was totally right. That may have been the best scrambler I've ridden. Do recommend if you have time. -Roar was running fast but my one ride (2nd to back) was rough, and an uncomfortable seat/lapbar set-up didn't help. I enjoyed it, but others might not. -Finally rode the train for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised. Decently large layout, and a few parts were quite pretty. You could also get good looks at the old apocalypse trains as well as the old Wild One buzz bar trains if you look in the right spot. I'd recommend if you have 10-15 min to kill. It is quite slow however, especially during the part inside the main park. Operations notes: -Everything I looked at but Batwing ran multiple trains. Dispatches overall were some of the best I've seen at this park. Not fantastic or anything, but fast enough to be acceptable. -Wild One at one point sent a loaded train out before the last one hit the breaks! -Batwing was still super slow operations, but it has been worse. On the bright side, they were doing a good job of stopping station crowding by only letting in a certain amount of people each train. -Note for anyone wanting to ride the train: The train only runs at 15 minute intervals from 12pm-6pm on weekends between memorial weekend and labor day. Other notes: -Huge crowds, but the vast majority were there for Hurricane Harbor, so lines in the dry park were very reasonable as usual. -Apparently 1pm is the best time to go to the Gotham City Food Court. No line, and reasonable wait time. Would not recommend later in the day though, since the food ops are normally quite frustrating. -Turns out that if you bring your own water bottle to the park, food stand employees will fill it up with water for free (ice too if you ask). Very helpful. -Was able to use my basic dining pass to get a lunch and snack with no difficulties. Overall, good day! The park is on an upward climb.
  3. Hahaha. Imagine the horror of the other guests when you brought a camera into the bathroom stall and started filming. Lol it was empty don’t worry
  4. Lol no, they're just small and pretty bare. Almost like a garden shed painted bright colors on the outside, almost like a garden shed but the inside is a bathroom. I posted a video where you can see the inside of the bathrooms a little while ago here.
  5. The ride looks awesome! Any chance you could release a real time pov for reference/comparison?
  6. I can't wait to experience the RTC-style jump track at the top of the first drop!
  7. SFA May need a dictionary to figure out what theming is, but at least we keep all our DC rides in once place (sans Two-face, RIP)
  8. Nice report! For the record, Boardwalk Bullet was designed by Gravity Group (it's noted if you look at the bottom of its rcdb page). You were likely confused as the manufacturer is listed as Martin & Vleminckx, but these guys are actually the manufacturing company that installs most of GG's rides (GG mostly just designs the coasters, and possibly fabircates the trains and other parts, not sure). You probably didn't care about that, but now you know.
  9. If you're into Broadway stuff, I highly recommend Come From Away. It's about how the people of the town of Gander, Newfoundland (Canada) came together to accommodate an unexpected extra several thousand travelers after 38 airplanes were grounded at their airport on 9/11. It's super heartwarming, very creative use of limited cast and props, and awesome music. Whole thing takes a little over an hour with no intermission. Give the soundtrack a listen.
  10. Oddly enough, my one visit to SFGAm was last summer on an overcast Friday in July. The weather forecasted significant storms, but it wound up just being a combined total of maybe 30-60 min of light rain scattered throughout the whole day. And the park was dead. I'm talking walk ons for most of the rides, station waits for Goliath (with some walk-ons), just halfway down the stairs for Raging Bull. Even X-flight and Superman had absolutely no line, and were somehow still running two train IIRC. I rode X-flight twice in a row without getting up. That day was awesome, but since it was a Friday in July, it was probably just a weird fluke. At some smaller parks though (like my home park SFA), if you come on a random Wednesday even in the summer, you can expect short lines for most rides.
  11. Six Flags doesn't care about intimidating their guests with crazy rides, look at Cyborg at SFGAdv, or all the free spins they've been installing.
  12. ^ Phnx Toro Skyr GlthRMC Twstr SmRn Nitr S:ROS KK Wld1 Happy now?
  13. Absolutely beautiful, it's been great seeing this project develop. The model looks incredible, you can really see the hard work and passion that went into it. I wish I could see it in person, but alas, I live on the other side of the country.
  14. This logic could also be applied to say that Mean Streak would be worth a longer wait than Steel Vengeance.
  15. I’ve generally heard that Firehawk was the best, but I’ve only been on Batwing (which I personally like).
  16. From my six rides (3 in r1, 1 in r12, 1 in r11, and one in r3), I actually found the front consistently had some of the strongest air
  17. I forget, do they let you put your stuff down on the ground by your feet for Zumenjaro?
  18. I’d say go for it. IMO, it’s a fun spot to spend half a day or so at. Generally low crowds and good rides. Most of my visits have been positive. Operations are often slow (especially food) but I’ve rarely waited more than 15-20 min for anything in the dry park excluding Wonder Woman, Ragin Cajun, and Batwing, even on crowded days. A few tips to consider: -Ride Superman in the very front, preferably the red train if possible -Batwing is fun and intense IMO, but too rough for some, though it will probably be down for your visit anyway. If it is open, ride it as early as you can, the line for that ride can easily reach 45 min if it’s down the steps and through a switchback or two and on one train, due to very long dispatch times. -I like Wild One best in 2nd to back. If you’re riding alone, ride in the left seat. If with a partner, the larger person should be in the left if possible. You’ll thank me on the helix. -RC is fun IMO, but if the queue is mostly full, you’re looking at a 45 min wait based on my experiences, which isn’t worth it. If not riding with a partner, push down against the slopes metal plate by your feet to avoid awkwardly sliding around in the car. -Ride Firebird in or at least near the back row, preferably an inner seat -JJ is good anywhere on the train, but I find it most intense in the front -The drop tower is short but has a good kick to it -The show near the Wild West section was cheesy/goofy fun that I personally enjoyed -The fries and onion rings side at Jonny Rockets is a snack on the dining pass and is a generous portion (by Six Flags standards). -If it winds up being crowded and you park way in the back (doubt it since it’s a weekday in May), don’t take the tram, just walk. -I wouldn’t ride the penguin raft ride if I were you. -If you want shade, go to the looney toon kids area near RC and the kiddie coaster
  19. Pretty much agree with everything people have said. I'll re-emphasize Skull Mountain in the VERY back row and making sure to ride Houdini. I'd also try to get at least one lap in on the sky ride. Cyborg is best with few people riding, take an outer seat, it's not quite as nauseating as it looks. Leave plenty of time for Toro, and make sure to ride Zumenjaro right after Ka before you forget, and wind up having to walk halfway across the earth to get back to its entrance. As far as crowds, the general consensus seems to be that the best way to predict crowds is to purchase a dart board, write different crowd levels at different parts of the board, blindfold yourself, and throw the dart. So far I've had light crowds at 2/3 of my visits. Be warned that Ka's line can move agonizingly slow at times, especially if they only run one train (which they did during my ride). Zumenjaro probably won't have a line even if the park is crowded, but if it does, single rider should get you on pretty quick.
  20. Except Fuji-Q is full of rides that are actually work risking a visit for.
  21. I thought DE members got some sort of extra preferred parking with much lower capacity, which is supposedly even closer than the normal preferred parking for most members, but I may be mis-remembering, and this could all just be made up
  22. Sweet! These things have always looked pretty awesome, psyched we could be seeing one. These past several additions have been very nice. Looks like we’re finally getting some level of attention from Six Flags (assuming that it is indeed a giant discovery)
  23. I think this park might be the reason I even ever go to Poland now. (No offense, but there’s already a lot of historical stuff to see and things to do in Europe elsewhere) Not to get weird or morbid but this park is very close to Auschwitz (since you mentioned historical sites). They're about 35 minutes apart from each other. Definitely worth the trip to check that out as well. It's a haunting experience and not for everyone but I do recommend going if you're into historical sites. I may add that if you do wind up doing both, I would do them on different days (or at least have several hours between being at the two places) if I were you, as visiting both on the same day would (at least for me) kinda feel wrong.
