Flamingoland Mumbo Jumbo TR
RollercoasterTigger replied to RedSpecial's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
After not visiting Flamingoland for a while we were really pleased with the general up turn in the quality of everything - the place to me hardly seems like the same place I remember from a few years back. New rides, clean facilities, good food, helpful staff and quality merchandise all make for a really good day out. The queues weren't a put off either, even though the park was really busy on our trip. All in all I'd think it would be worth a 3.5 hour trip. It's worth the trip as I haven't been since early 2005 and when we got there the park was closed due to a thunderstorm so we only got to ride the Bullet and Cliff hanger before leaving -

we were looking at going up to Flamingoland on the 11th July but it's a 3.5 hour drive for us so might leave it until September now -

Universal looks fantastic - We have only done the 2 parks in Florida but never got to ride Jaws as it was closed. I seem to remember a very wet front row on ICE too, lol Really want to do a TPR trip but we won't be able to for quite sometime yet. Great TR, Lou -
I am looking some parts which seem to have disappeared from the rodent world but I really want them to connect my cages together. I am after Ferretrail Passageway Connectors and Bubble Wave end caps! I have tried everyone in the UK but they have told me that they have been deleted from the UK catalogue so any European/American members know somewhere online I can buy these were they don't charge stupidly high postage costs (one site quoted me $50 shipping) Be very grateful for any help!

Looking at planning a short weekday trip (3days/2nights) to Madrid to do Parque Warner and Parque de Atracciones de Madrid. Just wondering if anyone could recommend a place to stay and how easy the parks are to get to via public transport as we want to avoid car hire for our stay. Looking at going 9-11th September this year. Thanks

A Little Help Needed Planning a Trip to Germany and europe
RollercoasterTigger replied to chaos_theory1's topic in Ask Alvey
There you go - perfect answer to your problem - TPR Europe trip! If you a Geforce ERS @ Holiday Park you will be very lucky (I will very jealous as the 3 times we have visited this park it has rained no stop) Never even thought of that - so use to doing our own now - would do if we could get the time off work. -

How many people are going? Do you want to stay at the park hotels or just local ones? No-one going can drive? Sorry about the questions just want to make sure I understand... -
Dont you ever get Scared?
RollercoasterTigger replied to Joan_Crawford's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Drop towers get me everytime - I really don't like them but I will ride them all once! Maybe one day I will learn to love them. Apocolypse @ Drayton Manor and Scream @ Heide Park really get me. Rollercoasters don't bother me at all really - I feel a little nervous for the first ride but that quickly disappears and turns in to fun. -

All depends on which parks you want to do and how long you have to do them in really? -
thanks for the links - will take a look at those. Good to hear that the Hotel is ok - I normally end up picking really terrible hotels when I organise our trips! I tend to try and book park hotels now but not all of them have one! Thanks

Thanks for that - we were thinking Bus or Taxi to and from the airport and walk to and from the hotel to the park. Looking forward to going now!

Hi all, We are looking at planning a overnight trip to Sweden to spend two days at Liseberg. Hopefully we will fly in to Goteburg city airport and stop at the Hotell Liseberg heden hotel. Just wanted to know how easy it would be to rely on public transport rather than hiring a car. There will be 3 of us going (possibly 4). grateful for any advice

What is your next park?
RollercoasterTigger replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Oakwood with ECC in August, then Liseberg in September, with a possible visit to Flamingoland September/October and we will do a few visits to Alton Towers and Thorpe Park since we have Season Passes. -
Married on Tatsu?!
RollercoasterTigger replied to GMAN962's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
A few people have been married on the pmbo in blackpool. If I could go back in time - we would have got married at Alton Towers or WDW, Florida - instead I had to follow what my family wanted -
Better Europe park
RollercoasterTigger replied to LingLing13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thats a hard question... I like europa because it so clean and tidy and with eurosat and euromir the park is really good. The on-site hotel are all fabulous I like port aventura because of Dragon Khan - it is stunning. The hotel El Paso is brill. Europa Park will "eat" more people an hour on the rides that Port Aventura will - but it depends on what time of year you are going. I would have to say Port Aventura - thats only because Ihave been Europa Park every year for the past 4 years. -
I so wish we were there now! - You all look like you are having so much fun (and I am working nights this week ) We were going to go in september but I changed the plan to do Liseberg instead so I can get my 150th rollercoaster (hopefully on Balder) I really love Port Aventura and Dragon Khan is my 3rd favourite rollercoaster at the moment - can't wait for our next visit. Looking forward to the next update and the mini TPR trip reports

Themeparkfan or Coasterfan?

Theme Parks for me - I enjoy visiting the parks but I make sure I ride all the coasters first before I take pictures or do any of the other rides. -
Flamingo Land Discussion Thread
RollercoasterTigger replied to ParkTrips's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have only been to Flamingoland once and we had only been there 30mins and there was a massive thunder/lighting/rain storm and they closed the park. I only got to ride the Bullet and drop tower! I hope to go again before the end of the season but the weather here at the moment not sure that its a good idea. Pictures look great - looks to be an interesting ride
