From what I've heard..the rings will be part of the ride. There's been no mention of them being removed cause of time constraints or budget. The only things that were originally cut from this project was the LCD screen that was supposed to adorn the side of the lift and the "Hollywood" letters seen in the first piece of concept art.

Alright. Get ready for a looooot of things to read and see. As mentioned above, yes there is a rollback problem with the top of the lift, thus the slow speed of the lift from those test videos. Apparently it'll take ten days tops to get the ride back up in running. Landscaping is in full force and so is painting. Blizzrock and Pyyrock (Dueling Dragons) Apollo's Chariot Big Bad Wolf Kumba Pretty much every Busch coaster name. Tatsu And Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. It's grown on me. -
