Why is IOA's attendance so low?
King_K. replied to ansley's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Regarding all the talk of general upkeep of the park, I'll agree wholeheartedly. The good thing is that the Islands have gotten a gorgeous rehab in anticipation of Potter, so everything at the park (with the exclusion of the Hulk) looks amazing right now. Hulk also got a new effect's package for the launch tunnel. But it's track is in dire need of a paint job or a little bit of that magic rust remover they used on Kumba at BGT. As for the employees' at the park, they seem to have all been re-trained fairly recently, cause I've noticed the decline of customer service in the past few years, but as of my last trip (last month), they have never been more courteous. I got great customer service at IOA and the Studios. Especially by the Potter TM's. They're amazingly nice and courteous, and always in character I must say. -
Alright, so here's part one. Monday was a perfect day to go. It wasn't crowded. Got to experience EVERYTHING and I got to ride Forbidden Journey fourteen times, which I think is amazing on it's own. Forbidden Journey was up till 6pm when it was closed for the day. Let's start with the two videos. I did ask permission to take the P.O.V. btw, don't mind the background chatter.. The big visual screen for the Grand Opening was working. The set up for John Williams and his Orchestra for the big Grand Opening events. A little better view of the hat. Three Broomstick's menu offering. Hog's Head Ale Tap. Amazing shopkeeper. Best one I've seen in the role.

Lookwise : Revenge of the Mummy. I love the trains on Rip Ride Rockit too. So freaking comfortable and the LED's are great. -

Seems like someone took up Robb's suggestion.. -
Does this mean that Legoland IS a possibility once again?

1. What are your initial thoughts? -Great idea, I mean, I don't plan on going to a trip anytime soon, so it's something that doesn't quite grab my attention in the whole layout of the plan, but all in all it sounds like a great offer. 2. Can you think of anything else we could be offering? -The plan pretty much covers the gist of what I think is available to be offered. Maybe you can add a Premium Member Hoodie/Shirts to the TPR Store? 3. Is this something that interests you? -It does. 4. Why would you NOT be interested in this? -Originally the price was a little bit of a drawback but when I read that a TPR Store credit would be included then it was a bit less of an problem if any at all. 5. Any additional feedback you can give us based on the information you see here. -All in all, it's a great plan and a great offering for a premium membership. -Thanks.

Best entrance to a coaster ever. Sadly removed now though.

Wow Duke. First off. All trains are on site now. The two that were having problems have already/or are in the process received a fix. There hasn't been many reports of the chairs on the ride being broken. Using the conveyor belt loading makes no difference unless you're using all seven trains which they haven't been yet. As of right now HRRR will be open for HHN as soon as they install nets in the areas above where the queue lines for the soundstage houses are. It's as simple as that. Just because HRRR was outlined in the passholder map doesn't mean that it'll be open the night of the event. That's why there's park maps for specific nights. In the meanwhile they're using this downtime during HHN to continue running the new trains that just got onsite. You're making it seem like Universal themselves didn't open it for HHN out of spite. Obviously that isn't the case.
