Yeah, the 6'6 height limit is there cause of the Firehouse entry. Universal and Maurer wouldn't want to be sued for decapitation.

I've heard it's actually incredibly smooth. I think it might have to do with which train you're riding in.

The ride is at a 3 hour wait and they've closed the line for the day. Just so you know, there is a height MAXIMUM. 6 Feet 6 Inches.

Lol, they let the TNA Wrestlers ride just now, before letting the public in. Jeremy Borash one of the guys from TNA said on his twitter that he "Just got to ride the new Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket Rollercoaster at Universal before it opens to the public. Video coming in moments." 6:23 - Attractions Magazine guys just got off, they liked it, but liked Manta more, lmao. Rockit's wait is now at a more manageable 2 hours.

5 hour wait time, that's HARSH. Lmao. And yes, the walls ARE down.

The soft opening for Rockit is about to begin shortly, the line has already been set up. The line goes as far as Twister.

People are lining up outside Rockit in hopes that the supposed 6pm Soft Opening is true. Someone looks familiar in this photo.. [EDIT] - THE CONSTRUCTION WALLS ARE COMIN' DOWN. Dozens of uniformed employees standing about and Park just brought over an iced drink cart. "Here at Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, all sorts of management standing planning a line formation. I've been told by staff 6 pm!!'"

Fantastic review, I knew this coaster would be worth the wait. I just can't wait to ride it. There are some rumblings of a 6pm opening for GP tonight. Take that with a grain of salt, but I've heard it from reliable people. [Edit] Here's a couple of new pictures from the TM Previews going on. I really love the entrance. Well, Well I guess I was right with my estimation of two weeks till soft. These aren't open softs though, these are TM previews only, a couple of my friends learned that the hard way today. The majority of the reviews i've heard have been good! Alot of people saying "It was worth the wait."

Actually, I noticed.. If you look closely at this picture, the banner isn't one big piece, it's three separate pieces. Thus the reason I don't think it ripped. It just unclipped from the lift. You can see where the pieces meet on the 1st and 3rd ring.

It's been windy like hell as of late. I knew it'd come down if it didn't have any air holes in it...and it did.

Couple of new things happening. -Rock work on the base of the Castle is in Full Force. -The Entrance to "Dragon Challenge" is beginning to come together. -Pretty much every building is being built at the same time. The first official piece of facade for the castle has also been installed as shown in this pic and video made by DshYates.

The Test Track Curse strikes again.

Yeah, I noticed that. Since the Banner is actually 3 pieces anchored to the lift. The wind might just ripped them from the clips or might have pulled the clips and banner away from the lift.

I wish someone would've remembered to put holes in that banner. Lmao. Oh man, I just can't believe it happened. Especially considering how our state has a big target on it's back for horrible weather and hurricanes.

It was testing with all five trains yesterday.

Nothing new, other than it's been testing today.

Well, I'll be damned the banner's up.

The only other issues that I've heard about was a problem with the train dispatch the first time they ran four trains simultaneously and I've heard that this problem has already been fixed. I've heard this other ridiculous rumor around the internet saying that the X-Car train's floor is cracking, and I just find that one to be complete bull. I give it two weeks before softs start.
