..There currently AREN'T any current major issues with this coaster, all of the one's that have occurred have been fixed. The only major issue it really had was the anti-rollback they had to install, since the dual lift chain idea didn't work as well as they had planned. There were some other little issues like the Firehouse Fail and our beloved rings, but all have been fixed. All the rings light up, same as the lift, and the coaster track floodlights have also been tested and work. The ride is currently just testing to work any last minute kinks out and working on scenery and that's great news to hear about the banner! I can't wait to finally see it on.

Very sad to hear, many condolences to the family. Source: http://news.bnonews.com/hxj7 -
Little mini-update.. -All the anchors for the Banner on the lift have been added. -The debris nets under the track have all been installed. Typical last minute touches, only thing missing is the lift banner. The coaster was cycling all late last night, as well as the night before..I believe things are on track for now. Finally.

In Florida, that gigantic fan is a wonderful slice of heaven during summer...or any season for that matter. -
Couple of pictures of the alternating colors on the lift were posted to OU. They were posted before last night, since reports last night showed that all 5 rings all have their lights installed. http://www.orlandounited.com/forums/showthread.php?p=65429#post65429 [big ol' update!] - They installed the brackets for the banner today.

Little mini-news update from someone staying at the Portofino on site. "Just turned on all 5 rings 2 minutes ago they all change colors at the same time and turn the same color (blur, red, green, and multi- color), they even lit up the entire tower with flood lights. Did no tests today, but as of 10 minutes ago, 1 car is running with LED's on, looks awesome at night from my Portofino room balcony, WOW THE TOWER FLOODLIGHTS JUST CHANGED FROM WHITE TO RED" Well there you have it. Just some technical light tweaks.

They were testing very late into the night last night. Here's some recent video of it testing, there's some footage of it testing at night with full LED's towards the end of the video. All they've been doing today is working on the rings, which is probably for the lights and on the lift. Probably prepping stuff for the banner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVXIcgJD5jA [Edit] Crane is up now installing lights on rings 4&5 , no testing today.

Hey Robb, I had no idea that Diablo Cody went with you on this TPR trip. That is amazing. I actually saw that picture of her in the plane earlier when she posted it on her twitter! That is so kickass.

Well here's some good news for you all, it's gone back to testing non-stop with 4 trains on the track. The ride is fully staffed/trained and in their new uniforms. Other than that, it looks like soft openings will be commencing pretty soon. Apparently the 3 major issues I reported about, weren't really major at all, just some difficulties with the dispatching of trains and stuff. All of the construction walls except for those around the main entrance to the ride have been taken down. Only thing really missing is the banner. Which has had it's design yet AGAIN. New and improved banner design. I like it more.

Man, come on Maurer. I had higher hopes for you than this! We recently found out that after it was running with 4 trains for the first time it hit some snags here in there and in the end there was 3 issues..(we thought it might have been a dispatch problem) Couple of friends are chiming in with news about the coaster..

Many Many Thanks to IOAFreak13 at IOACentral for finding this. Some snooping through public trademark records have revealed several names and trademarks Warner Brothers have filed in regards to the Wizarding World. Most interestingly included is the name of the attraction, which appears to be titled "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey." Check out all the goodness below...
