To my understanding it didn't clear the reach envelope. You are correct. They were moving most of the gear to the firehouse on Friday, so I'm guessing they're working on that too, before putting in the lift.

Yeah, I pretty much figured that they were going to have problems with the Evac. plan and the lift. Didn't think it'd stall the construction for so long though.

Yeah they're really following that concept art as much as possible. Especially with J.K. Rowling breathing down their necks.

Universal WAS a mad house. I had to eventually shell out $51+tax for a 2 park express. All the waits were 60+, amazingly JAWS had the longest wait at 80 for most of the day. Only track missing on Rockit right now is just the lift. Not the heartline lift or any other MODIFIED lift either. Just the regular lift that was illustrated in the concept, website and MILLIONS of ads. [[ Oh, and by the way. The problem doesn't seem to be the lift or the track for the lift or the clearance, it seems to be the motors for the lift and the complicated "backwards" evacuation procedure. Motors need to be installed first before the track for the lift apparently. ]]

Went to Universal on Good Friday expecting light crowds. I was HIGHLY mistaken. Can't wait. Crowd surfer. Upskirt. Sexy Fail. Sexy. I still hope you people don't believe that crappy heartline twist lift/launch that you're all being spoonfed by Wes. LOL. #2 Distance shots. Little queue action. This rollercoaster has some sexy curves. Ain't she a beauty. Ramp leading into the exit HAS been installed! Welders working on an Exit Ramp. Heavy Crowds. No Mardi Gras today D: Gorgeous.

Just got back into Miami from Uni. Took loads of pictures of Potter and Rockit, I'll upload them later tonight. The track section leading into the station HAS been installed.

I'm surprised that the Chinese Fireball beat out the Horntail in the previous poll. Construction on the Three Broomsticks restaurant has gone vertical also.

No work on the lift or top of the drop at all. LOTS of work on the station though.

Work is being done on the Evac. tower and stairs for the brake run before you go through the fire station. No news on the lift though.

Yeah, the only track missing is the lift hill, the top off and start of the drop, the final brake run, and the actual station track.

From earlier rumblings and things mentioned by Uni all that I mentioned -would- be in the Castle itself except for the Magic SFX show. Which I think is going in the big box also..

You WILL be able to go inside the Castle. From what I've heard and what's been mentioned by Uni, It'll have the Staircases, Great Hall, Classrooms, the new ride under the Castle, the House Dorms, and a Magic SFX show. Oh, the the Magiquest system.
