Damn right! 'Murica! I should also clarify that if the person actually DOES have the disability, it's a lawsuit they likely lose. ADA laws are ridiculously complex, but I am fairly positive imposing the extra burden of a doctors note doesn't qualify as "equal accommodation." Asking someone to provide proof is DEFINITELY illegal when it comes to service animals, so I'm not so sure the same doesn't apply to all other disabilities covered under ADA as well. I'm sure Six Flags vetted it through their attorneys, but as someone who follows the industry very closely I am definitely interested to see how this plays out!

I like the idea behind it. However, this is going to end badly for six flags. If someone goes up to them and says "I have a disability and need this accommodation" and they deny that person because they don't have a doctors note, it is still going to get them sued.

Unless you are sharing beds, stuffing four people into a standard Excalibur room is not going to be fun for anyone... Monte Carlo standard rooms aren't that big either. MGM's would work. Signature is probably best since the suites will offer you a bit more room.

Since it is no longer in the show, it doesn't matter if it's spoiled: After a few running gags with Cosby rape jokes throughout the show, one of the hangmen decides they want to hang Cosby towards the end. The other hangmen goes "no no no, you can't do that!" to which they respond "why not? he's a terrible person!" and the joke goes on with the few more "no, trust me...we just can't do it!" Like the other poster said...vintage hanging satire. What else was removed from the show?

Do they offer installments on the parking? Poor people can only do installments.

JUST. STOP. People like you are the problem: "I'll gladly pay the current $700 for a pass...it's all the other folks causing the crowding! How dare they raise the price on me!" BTW, Disney has had an annual pass holder problem long before monthly pricing was introduced. The numbers have always been absurdly high. The difference is that for much of the early 2000's, the economy was down so the tourism industry was down as well. That's not the case anymore.

It made the news when Disney put out surveys asking about it...so I'm going to assume it will be here at some point.

Let me get this straight: you are complaining Disney is wrong for making YOUR pass more expensive and it's just pure corporate greed because YOU could afford to pay all at once at the old price and now either can't afford that anymore or don't want to pay more because you feel entitled, but it's also completely unacceptable they'd create the monthly payment plan so an annual pass is actually affordable to more people? I'm also going to assume that Disney employs a bunch of really smart people who have crunched all the data and probably realized that people on the monthly payment plans actually spend MORE money in the park than those who feel like they are entitled to everything because they paid all at once.... You do realize that there are millions of people each year who spend more than $700 in a single day on Disney property, right?

Also curious to hear what jokes they backed away from. The final Cosby bit was brilliant, so I hope it's not that...

Because the majority of those "loyal" pass holders take up space at the park and don't spend money. Disney would be very much OK with less people in the park spending more money vs. a full park of people just hanging out and maybe buying a meal. Disneyland is a tourist destination, not a local hang out. The reality is the pricing increase gets the pass to a point where it accurately reflects its value: if you visit regularly, you are still getting a great value given the ticket and parking prices. If you don't? You don't NEED no blackouts anyways. I'll tell you why it is business: whether someone pays for a pass all at once or does the monthly payment option, from an accounting point of view it's all noted the same. Even though Disney may collect all the money at once, the revenue that they can count as revenue on their balance sheet is spread evenly throughout the year....

Headlines about Disney are attention grabbers. In Orange County especially where almost everyone is either employed by them, has a family member employed by them, or are pass holder themselves.

The S:UF clones suck compared to the more recent models...like almost anything else in life.

This is perfect for Japan. It's not like they have a huge coaster enthusiast community that will pick it apart. They have a market that will absolutely LOVE the gimmick.

No. Early entry offers a 6:15 show if you want to see it without worrying about being turned away. Exits right out by the escalators so you can head down to the lower lot right after and jump in another maze line before it gets too crazy.

It's always tough to grow your business when you are just a leaseholder. Especially when the owner is a city.

^I believe that figure is an off the shelf figure purchased years ago at IAAPA. It's been in other mazes at Haunt in the past. This. The park should be embarrassed that such an ambitious project is a complete disaster operationally.

My understanding is that each harness is a couple thousand dollars each new. Mainly because it's such a specialized item.
