  1. So after getting 4 hours of sleep the night before from going to PKD. I was off to GA to get my Toro fix. I arrived at the park at around 10am and saw this... Walked in and hung out near the ticket entrance for the gates to open while observing someone checking the cables on Dare Devil Dive... Crazy man! Anyway, entered the park and waited for the ropes to drop. Ran right to Toro and waited an hour for them to open it. :'( But, got the first train out in the back seat and was a happy camper. Then rode RT, definitely did some trackwork to it in the offseason. Afterwards, proceeded to Ka and waited about a half hour and it broke down and after waiting 15 minutes with nothing happening we left and went to KFC. We came back and met up with Rob and his girlfriend and went back to Toro, but I broke it and then I took some crazy pictures of water dummies on El Toro. Ka and Toro sitting there... Met up with Clint, George and his girlfriend and went on Medusa which was very nice and then worked out way to see how Chiller is looking. Some angles it looks really cool, but then some angles it looks ehh. I guess I will have to wait till ride. So, we wandered over to Nitro and got an awesome ride on Nitro which was kicking butt today. After that, got a call from Rob saying Ka just opened back up and got a front row ride with a 4 train wait with Clint. Afterwards, went over to RT again and grabbed a front row ride. Afterwards, got another back seat ride on Toro and then headed over to Ka for the last ride of the night. Ended up grabbing the last train out in the front row with the tower half covered in fog! It was awesome! Walked to the exit and did the hand slapping and saw Kristin again, which was very cool and got to my car before taking one last picture... Awesome day!
  2. Well, Robin's side has the hump but Batman does not. http://www.flyinphilsphotos.com/amuse/nj/sfga/2007-03-25/album0
  3. That Test Track shot is awesome!
  4. Chiller is getting the zero-g rolls removed? I never would of guessed that!
  5. I just beat Lost Planet on normal difficulty. Awesome game!
  6. It was confirmed at Eastcoaster that Chiller's roll's will be removed for a "hump".
  7. Here's some new pictures with the zero-g rolls removed... http://www.flyinphilsphotos.com/gadvtemp/Chiller_01-27-07_001.jpg http://www.flyinphilsphotos.com/gadvtemp/MovieTown_01-27-07_001.jpg http://www.flyinphilsphotos.com/gadvtemp/Chiller_01-27-07_002.jpg
  8. Well, X-Flight has arrived at PKI... http://photos.pkicentral.com/thumbnails.php?album=180
  9. I'm really interested in that Mainland Europe trip!
  10. Well, for those of you who don't know. There is no Sonic's fast food restaraunts in NJ, so me, Rob and Joe all ventured out yesterday to find one. But, it turned out to be one crazy adventure! I drove to Rob's house around 8:45am and met up with him. We then proceeded in his car's to Bubba Joe's house and stopped at Clementon Park to take some off-season pictures of it. The gate to the park is WIDE open! Oooooooooooooooo, through the trees! I wish it was open! Well, after that we got back on the road to Joe's house. This is what Rob was doing the whole time complaining he was hungry! Always on the phone! We stopped by to see the house with the tree inside it! Finally, we got Joe and we were on the road! Here I am dozing off in the back of the car... Finally after two hours of driving we see the sign! Yay! The menu, but Rob pulled too far away to even reach the call button... The dessert menu... Rob yelling to the lady because she didn't understand a word he said... SuperSonic burger, cheese tater tots, and a Barq's Root Beer=Heaven! And for dessert, a Sonic Blast! So after that, we stopped at Dutch Wonderland and took pictures of the Sky Princess... And that's it for the pictures. The ride home was boring, but once we got into Philly and saw one crazy lady with a cane walking all over the street and the thirty year old lady in the power wheels Escalade on twenties made it alright! Hope you enjoyed it!
  11. All I gotta say is, are you singing to a hammer? Great video man! She better say yes!
  12. You notice the smileys underneath my last post. All I am saying is I DO not want Chiller to lose those zero-g rolls, they were the most dissorienting element on any coaster I have been on!
  13. Yup, working in a Produce department makes me know everything about the local parks around me.
  14. All I am saying is that I have been hearing rumors of this happening, so don't be suprised when you go there this summer and there is no zero-g roll. Besides, what do I know I am just a 20 year old kid who works in a Produce Department.
  15. Well, Robin's train did valley before and the back car of the train was stuck upside down in the zero-g roll. Also, because of the incident that happened to Chiller in the beginning of July this past summer. So, that's a pretty good guess why the zero-g roll would be removed.
  16. Thanks to FlyinPhil... http://www.flyinphilsphotos.com/amuse/nj/sfga/2007-01-07/album0 Pictures 11 and 12 clearly show the zero-g rolls GONE! Now, will they just repair the track or will something else happen?
  17. I'm all for it to be taken down, but do you know how much this thing will cost to be removed?
  18. I went to that event last year and I thought it was great. The ERT was great on Volcano and I scored about 10 rides on it. I recommend it...
  19. I have to think the best part was when you guys were going up the escalators and the people were looking at you like "WTF"!
  20. In New Jersey, we haven't seen any snow yet this year. Boo...
  21. My all time favorites were Doug, Rugrats, Kenan & Kel, and Hey Arnold. But, now a days I find myself watching Fairly Odd Parents. Its quite amusing...
  22. Yeah, I bet you're right. I still remember my first ride on it. At first I put my arms up and started to yell like I would on a good launch coaster. Then I looked around, looked at my watch, pulled my arms down, realized we were only halfway down the launch track. I thought to myself "Man, this is dull". And the weightlessness was nothing like what was hyped up. That sums up how I felt as well...
  23. What makes this thing even crazier is that this thing is built on one acre!
